To Whom It May Concern,

I am very pleased to write this recommendation for Gabrielle Amato. She worked in our fourth grade

classroom since school began in August of 2019. Her initiative and professionalism is outstanding.

Gabi’s respect and generosity for her community showed every day. She was an integral part of our

classroom.

Early on, Gabi was responsible for teaching various components of the language arts framework. She

developed and taught a Life Science unit. Gabi was responsible for preparing and teaching math lessons

as a part of our Everyday Math Program. Gabi did a great job of setting goals and objectives during all

of her lessons. She consistently laid out the big idea and came back to it during the lesson.

Gabi is very good at reflecting on her practices and working to improve her teaching. Gabi is particularly

adept at holding discussions with children on various subject matters. She set a nice pace and she is

very thoughtful and kind with the students in their inquiry. She is proactive in her discipline and

compliments positive behavior. Gabi has developed a good sense of understanding of student

development and learning, and was very good at recognizing individual differences in our students, and

adjusting her practice accordingly. I have complete confidence that Gabi will be an excellent teacher, and

a wonderful addition to any school. It has been a pleasure to work with Gabi.

Sincerely,

Nick Mosher
