1. Do you think covid-19 vaccination should be strongly implemented to all ages?

Yes or No ? Why?

For me, I think covid-19 vaccination should be strongly implemented to all

ages for the reason that this vaccine is a life saving protection against a disease that
killed millions of peoples worldwide due to the fact that the pandemic is far from over
and covid-19 vaccine is the best bet for staying safe. In fact, Virus affected not just
only old people with weak immune system but as well as all ages. Therefore,
Vaccination is a simple, safe, and effective technique to defend against dangerous
illnesses before coming into contact with them, since it triggers the body's natural
defenses to teach the body to fight certain infections and improve the immune system.
Vaccination against COVID-19 reduces the risk of becoming seriously ill and dying
because the person is better protected. Also, i know that people who have received all
of their vaccines have a much lower risk of becoming ill if they are exposed to the
Delta variant as well as to omicron. While the Delta form is less likely to disseminate
the virus, it is more competent than the original virus of entering cells that border the
nose, mouth, and throat. Once within the cells, these variations rapidly replicate,
raising what is known as the viral load. As a result, even people who have been fully
vaccinated can harbor higher levels of the Delta variant and omicron, making it more
likely that they will spread the virus to others.

2. As a nursing student, What can you contribute to prevent spread of Covid-19

virus in your community?

As a nursing student, what I can contribute to prevent the spread of Covid-19

virus in our community is that I will use my knowledge to educate them on how to
prevent the spread of covid-19 virus through using proper hand washing or the use of
alcohol, Physical distancing and by the use of wearing face mask and face shield. Hand
washing has always been one of the most effective ways of preventing disease. It is a
simple act that pays huge dividends in terms of keeping us safe and healthy. Hand
washing is also an important component in COVID-19 prevention. Hand hygiene
needs to become an integral part of our daily routine and lives as we live through this
pandemic and beyond to protect us from diseases now more than ever as we embrace
the new normal and live with COVID-19. Physical distance refers to steps done to
prevent or halt the transmission of an infectious illness. Individually, it means keeping
a sufficient distance (6 feet or more) between yourself and another person to avoid
becoming infected or infecting someone else. Work from home directives, as well as
the cancellation of meetings and larger events, help to enforce physical distancing at
the community level. Lastly, wearing of facemask and face shield is one of the
important things to use for the reason that the COVID-19 virus primarily spreads when
one person breathes in droplets or aerosols that are produced when an infected person
coughs, sneezes, talks, or breathes. Therefore, These 3 prevention considered as the
effective way to prevent the transmission or spreading of virus from one person to
another.

3. What do you think is the biggest impact of Covid-19 that Nursing students are
facing right now?
I think that the biggest impact of Covid-19 that nursing student are facing right
now is that many nursing student experience difficulty when it comes to the new normal
for the reason that we are learning our knowledge and skills through online which is
difficult for us to visualize on how to do it properly in a real scenario. One of the biggest
impact that affect nursing student is that we don’t have clinical interaction for the reason
that If students were exposed to COVID-19 while in a clinical setting, they are risked not
only their health but also their family that’s why we are forced to study online even
though it’s not effective anymore. I’m not a fan of online courses. I find that the lectures
are not as engaging, there's too many distractions. Although many students take this
situation as an opportunity to rest, as a nursing student I feel uneasy, somewhat obligated
to not let my guard down. The current pandemic has snapped me to reality. In three more
years, there will potentially be dozens of patients' lives depending on my peers and me. It
is slightly overwhelming to think about the emotional and physical challenges that I will
face in the future. However, I understand that I am not entirely powerless. Instead of
feeling discouraged about the future, I will mediate my uncertainty by doing what I can to
prepare, help whenever I can and hope for the best. There is always something to stay
hopeful for.
