Essential Question: How can I convey the "butterfly effect" in art through my personal
experiences?

In 1200 Characters (with spaces) or less:

The setting is an empty piece of paper on a black surface. On the left is a butterfly that rests on
a higher platform. Not only is it metaphoric for the butterfly effect, the blue butterfly symbolizes
joy, luck, and change. Placed higher in its composition, the butterfly emphasizes living life in a
way that makes you happy as a main priority. To the right is a light bulb, the symbol of light,
connection, and intelligence. On the top, a pen leans on the platform the butterfly rests on which
represents my artistic identity but also serves as a writing utensil to potentially write an own
story. Below is a key that also leans on the platform casting a shadow next to the light bulb,
representing an individual’s freedom to unlock their own door to the future. All the materials
around contrast with the symbol of joy having a more vibrant hue. The photo realism allows
attention to detail, creating shapes that have form and color, therefore, showing importance of
the butterfly’s hue and the texture of the light bulb, the pen and key’s shiny features of reflecting
light. Light is the symbol of life and all of the objects that reflect it represent a perfect being.
