Sir Hanz is the artist of the painting, ‘of Colors and Shapes’ is an artwork derived from many

colors and shapes, giving it a Fauvism and cubism art style. The painting depicts a female that
has many colors and shapes as her face, giving off a vibe that she would be colorful, or
specifically open minded, or artistic, and possibly full of ideas. The female shows more interest
in herself as the hand shows, as she is seemingly interested in her own open-mindedness and
uniqueness. The Artist seems to want to show that everyone has a unique mind and way of
thinking,

The technique that the artist used to paint the painting would be cubism, and it also filled with
fauvism, giving it a colorful painting. The art piece itself gives a feeling of deep thought and
creativity due to the hands, the facial expression, and the vibrant colors it gives.

Her face is full of colors, which shows the girl in the artwork is open minded. The color of the
yellow wristbands give the meaning that It is used to show that a family member or
someone you love is out of the country and in military service, and it serves to represent
troops returning home safely from overseas. It's to support the active duty of military troops.
The meaning of putting a hand on the chin and one on the head can mean deep thought,
contemplation, or being in a reflective mood. It's a non-verbal way to convey someone is
pondering a complex idea or facing a challenging situation. Her headband having the colors
of the rainbow would give a meaning that she has a spectrum of emotions, showing that she
has a lot of emotions inside her. Or that she Is an LGBTQ member, or a supporter of it. If we
look deep into the picture, we can see each color of the face in the picture has a different
pattern given to it, making it artistic and intricate. The hand on top of the girl’s head is not as
detailed as the other hand below her face. The hand also has a blackish outline below it
which has no sense why it was placed there due to no actual given reason why. The
eyebrows in the painting are different sizes and aren't the same. The hands shown in the
painting aren't the same size, the top hand is small while the other hand is big. There is paint
smug near the right earring, that doesn’t fit in the painting .There is a really small sketch
seen that was erased, though can be slightly seen in the painting in the background, a
hard-to-notice pencil trace. The color makes it hard to figure out where the head and the
headband starts due to the excessive color used. The yellow wristbands in the painting
have irregular sizes, the top being big while the bottom being small. The earrings in the
painting don't have the same amount of triangles in the earring, left having 9 while the right
has 10. There is unfinished painting on the lips, leaving white spots, as it was not fully
painted out and filled. The color that's in between the faces, has a white outline-ish gap in
the forehead. It doesn't give a high attention to detail in the headband, making it look
sluggish, rather than looking like it's wrapping around the hair. And the hair looks like it was
up high without any sense of gravity. It's hard to figure the black part on the top was the hair
due to the fact it looks more like smoke at first, and the headband being a volcano, though
this is only from looking at it from a different angle at first. The left side of the painting has a
small white outline, stopping the light yellow background that looked like it was smudged on,
unlike the right side that makes the light yellow fade out into the edge of the background on
the right side. The bottom right of the body of the person shown has a orange color
smudged onto it, unlike the bottom left that has yellow instead, which gives off a weird look
to it, like it's not supposed to be like that. The style of the painting being fauvism and
cubism. The feeling I have out of the painting would be like a feeling of floating, floating in a
space where it's all just colors trying to converge and mix together with each other. To me, I
would give a score that's out of 100 would be at least 81/100, as its small minor defects
stack up to get this score, but overall its a good painting if you're not looking for
imperfections.

The art, "of Colors and Shapes" does give off a vibrant glow of enriched colors and details per
shape, it has its own side of minor details that makes the piece of work imperfect. And its own
meaning gives out a curious feeling onto itself, as if it's questioning its own existence. Though
the painting itself would give you a slight enlightenment on the world around us, expanding our
view ever so slightly, even with imperfections, it's an amazing painting and many more should
be painted.
