The topic I have chosen is the effects of social media on
mental health as I think it’s quite an important subject to
young people and it is currently a very relevant topic.
It is also quite a broad subject so I could potentially go
into a more specific subject such as cyber bullying or
FoMO
The Topic of the production will suit the target audience
of British youth because mental health is a subject that
young people do care about a lot, this is the same with
social media as it is a big thing in young people’s lives
and is becoming more and more important
I’m going to try and raise awareness by trying to show 2
sides of the topic because I feel this will make the
documentary more interesting and more engaging as well
as more interesting
I’m going to try and explain the subject from different
people’s experiences to try and show that everyone has
different experiences and ideas which can affect them and
their lives
