Music Video – Yellow by Coldplay

Concept

My concept is that I am going to create a love story to the song Yellow by Coldplay. The start
of the music video will be a guy in a field at sunset with his guitar walking and then sitting
down. He will then start writing a song on some paper and then he will start playing his guitar
and that’s when the song will start playing. The music video will then transition into showing
b-roll of the guy being with the girl that he likes. This will include them being in a café
together, walking through a park and just being happy. Towards the end of the song it would
cut to reality and he would be by himself again in the field

Why are you producing this production?

I am producing this for the BeCreative festival and also the London music video festival.

Deadline

The deadline was originally the 14th December 2022 but It is now the 16th December
2022

Target audience

The target audience is PG mainstream which means that I can’t include any content that goes
against the YouTube or BBFC guidelines for PG content which means that I can’t include
topics such as bad or dangerous behaviour, drug misuse, sexual behaviour, nudity threatening
behaviour and violence

What they want to see?

Based on my target audience survey I got suggestions about what my target audience would
like to see them do together such as going out and being in a café together or being in a park
together

What you are creating based from that research

Based off that research I am going to have them doing a bunch of things you would expect to
see a stereotypical couple do

Where the production will be aired?

The production will be aired on YouTube as 100% of the people who answered my target
audience survey said that they stream their music videos on YouTube
