Globalisation is the growing integration of the word’s economies. One of the benefits of
globalisation is access to larger markets. One of the most important benefits to business of
globalisation is access to huge markets. Clearly global markets are considerably larger than
domestic markets. If a business has access to several billion customers rather than 40 million
this provides huge opportunities to increase sales.

the free movement of labour. This means that people are free to move around the world
and find employment in other countries. As a result, businesses will have access to a larger
