General Constitution
for the IGSLC
We, the Inspired Global Student Leadership Council, are extremely
honoured to be sharing this fantastic opportunity for fellow Inspired
students to show their leadership and teamwork abilities. In order to instill
our core values and maintain a professional environment, we want to
share the aims and objectives of the Inspired Global Student Leadership
Committees:

Bring together a great number of like-minded students for the purpose

of keeping the Inspired schools community more connected than ever.
Allow students to represent their school in order to foster a more
connected student community.
Provide an opportunity for students to work with teams, address and
raise awareness about current issues around the world.
Encourage students to be leaders within their own communities,
whether it be at home, school or their local community.

These committees shall be empowered to do what is necessary, given that

it follows ethical codes, to reach the set goals. Therefore, let us ensure that
our teams work to give the best results and bring no disrepute to the
Inspired Global Student Leadership Committees and Council.

An Annual General Meeting should take place to allow for each year’s
committees and leadership teams to come together and discuss progress
and views on future projects.

Each committee can publish media including newsletters, newspapers,

articles or leaflets for promotion of the club and its goals; Organize events,
such as conferences and concerts, to encourage student engagement (due
to the COVID-19 pandemic, virtual events should be used); Provide gifts
and prizes, in the case of a competition, in accordance with the objectives
of the committee.

Code of Conduct:

It is important to always be respectful and mindful of the multicultural

atmosphere you are in.
We must keep in mind that disrespectful language or gestures will not be
tolerated.
Given that these committees operate on an international level, let us all speak
in the commonly understood language of English, to ensure nobody feels left
out.
Let us listen to what all team members have to say and be respectful towards
the perspectives, opinions and arguments of other members.
Let us ensure that we stay on track of our tasks and on path to achieving the
best outcomes for everyone.
It is recommended that students are notified 48 hours before a scheduled
meeting to ensure it does not clash with their personal schedules and every
student should try to make themselves available to the meetings held by their
committee.
In the case a student is not able to attend a committee meeting, they will need
to notify the executive leaders and must be provided with meeting minutes to
know what was discussed.
Let us be respectful towards the student who is speaking – we should be
mindful of not disturbing the speaker.
By being part of an Inspired Global Student Leadership Committee you are
committed to attending regular meetings and communicating frequently with
your fellow committee members.
You understand that this is a privilege to be part of one of the leadership
committees and that extra work and time will be required on top of your
normal academic studies and extra-curricular commitments.

The students who breach any of these conditions will be facing consequences,
depending on the severity and the condition being broken, a member may be
expelled from their committee.

This is an extremely unique opportunity that only a few students worldwide are
able to experience. Therefore, being aware of how privileged we are, let us take this
chance to lead and create CHANGE.

Let us encourage the Inspired student community to become more:

creative, proactive and inspiring.
We are also looking for
students to join each committee as a
Marketing Specialist.

If you are interested in pursuing this

role, sign up HERE!

We also need students to join as a

Human Resources Director, the future
Chairs, and members of the Inspired
Student Steering Committee.
