Would the previous officers please stand? On behalf of Toastmasters

International and District 75, I thank all of you for your accomplishments and
salute you for your service. You are discharged from all further duties and
responsibilities as officers of Sinulog Toastmasters Club.

Charging and Installation

“I am here to install the officers of Sinulog Toastmasters Club and to prepare

them for the challenges that lie ahead. Their collective challenge is to make this
club strong, dedicated to helping people from all walks of life to speak in an
effective manner, listen with sensitivity and think creatively.

I will ask each officer to hold the gavel as a symbol of leadership as I briefly
describe the challenges he or she must meet and the responsibilities he or she
must fulfill.”

Mr. Sergeant-At-Arms, JULES YU, you are charged with the responsibility of
creating a meeting environment where love and unity abide and friendship is a
guest.
Madam Treasurer, DELIA TAN, your keywords are fiscal management. It is
your responsibility to ensure that membership dues and renewal reports are
forwarded to Toastmasters International in accordance with the principle of
immediacy and timeliness.

Madam Secretary, Remcel Cañete,you are charged with the responsibility of

keeping an accurate record of members and officers list. It is also your role to
facilitate member progress in Base Camp.

Madam. VP PR, Maria Maderia, your keywords are club promotion. It is part of
your duty to spread the cause of Toastmasters to the community.

Madam VP Membership, Herdreth Tan, your duties are to conduct ongoing

membership-building programs, explain the educational program to
prospective members

MR VP Education, Stephen Uy, as the second highest ranking officer of the

club, you are charged with the responsibility of organizing successful meetings
to help members achieve their educational goals.

MR. IPP, Nino Jose Chan, your role is to provide guidance and serve as a
resource to the current club officers and members. You are tasked to assist in
the preparation of the club success plan and promote the club’s effort to
become a distinguished club.

Madam President, as the Chief Executive Officer, it is your responsibility to

Work with your team members to create a healthy, dynamic club — a club of
which everyone will be proud.

Further, dear officers, you are charged with leading this organization according
to the laws of democracy, under which every person who wishes to speak shall
be heard, toward the end that in every matter considered, the best opinion
shall prevail through the express will of the majority, and best course of action
followed. Do you accept this charge?
