¡Hi! I’m Fernanda Leilani Millán Medina.

I was born in Mexico City, on April 1st, 1999, to be more specific on holy Thursday.
My parents are Armando Noé Millan and Yesenia Medina Tenorio.

I studied the kindergarten at least on three different places, the first is called:
“Jardin de niños Mixquic”, and the others was “Colegio Inglés Elizabeth Brash”,
and “Jean Piaget”. I remember that my graduation party took place at “Jardin de
niños Mixquic”.

When I was 6, I moved to Iztacalco, and in the first grade of the primary school I
was chosen as the standard-bearer, for that reason I felt very happy, the happiest
girl in the world, and so my parents, really excited, brought me the uniform.

When I was on the 2nd grade, closely to the end of the scholar year, some little girls
from the 6th grade! Picked off the money of my friend, and for that I hit them. As a
punishment, from the management decided called my parents in order to inform
that they decided to take 1 point from my final score on the signature called Cívica,
and just for that reason my final result wasn’t 10, it made me feel so sad. I really
felt blue when I couldn’t score 10. In that epoque I usually said: “when I grown up, I
will become a lawyer”.

When I was 7, my parents enrolled me to a soccer team, they carried me every

weekend to play. The team was formed just for kids, the name was “Inter de
Milan”. I just stay like one year.

When my birthday number 8 arrives, I asked for some golden balloons, because it
was my big wish. My birthday happened like I wish, with the golden balloons and
my cake of Pocahontas.

My favorite uncle was Pablo, we were really closer, when he was, I was too, her
friends knew me like “la bolita”. I remember that when I was 8 or 9, My uncle and
my grandfather took me to a cockfight, I chose the roster and my uncle or my
grandfather made the bet, we always won. I really love spend time with they!
I used to like visited my grandparents, who lived in Mixquic. On these visits I met
whit all my cousins in order to play, we were an extreme kids, I think really
extremes for our ages. On time, when we were playing, my cousin and I climbed
up a tree, because we didn’t want to be cached, when my parents noticed that we
were on the top of the tree, they quarreled us. What a wonderful days where those!
The street was our space to play.

My grandparents always gave us 10 pesos when they arrived home, with that
money we were happy. I really had a good childhood.

At the age of 11, my parents and I moved to Mixquic, a little town, and on that
place, I studied the last year or the primary school, the school was called: Cristobal
Colon”. At the beginning I didn’t enjoy the change, but at the end I got used to it.
The only wonderful thing was that I saw more frequently my cousins Yaquelin y
Fátima.

The secondary school happened without much relevance, I studied in a school

called Teutli, a very beautiful institution, it is made of big stones. All the years I was
in the “cuadro de honor”, just one occasion I was in troubles, because I didn’t arrive
on time at the classroom. My friends were Jimena, Esmerlada and the little Valeria,
we usually met at the break.

When I started to study at CECyT no. 6 I moved to live at the centro, but my family
continued living in Mixquic. Was in the CECyT 6 when I met to my best friends, that
was the epoque that I really loved.

At the very beginning, in the first semester I met to Andrea, my first thinking about
she was that she was “payasita”, but at the end I change my opinion and we
become inseparables. During the time at that school, I was meeting a very
wonderful people, like Ximena, Mafer y Viridiana, three cute awesome girls. The 5 th
and the 6th semesters were when we always spent time together, eating, making
homework’s, etc.
Usually the Fridays I dated with Andrea she wasn’t stayed with me at school
because she failed some classes. The weekends, I used to go to eat tacos, visit
museums, go to cafeterias with Xime and Mafer.

As I had good experiences, I also had bad ones, specially with two professors. The
first one, was the professor of calculo integral, he never taught us, but anyway he
hoped that we made homeworks. As was evident, I didn’t learn nothing, so I started
to go to private classes in Mixquic. The second one, was the professor of statics,
and I made the same strategy, but on that signature I failed. At the end I made an
extraordinary exam. At the graduation party I was so angled, because I didn’t know
the score, it was horrible.

When we had already finished the school, we continued studied for the exam of the
“nivel superior”, we usually wet to Vasconcelos Library.

For all that, at the end I finished the high school on time. I made the exam and I
decided to study medicine. My first choice was the CICS UMA, and when the
results was published, I didn’t believe that it said: “aspirante seleccionado”. For that
reason, I moved again to live at my hometown.

Now, at this time, I’ve been studding medicine during a year and a half, I enjoy it.
For a moment I was thinking to moved to ENMyH, but I think now that I really want
to stay at CICS. It’s a pretty school, and I am learning a lot of things, that will be
useful for my formation.

Some things that I enjoy doing, principally are sports, like basketball, volleyball (I
liked playing with the team of the CICS). I take pleasure listening classical music
while is raining and enjoy a delicious warm cup of milk.

I don’t´ like the artificial flavors’ waters, I prefer the naturals ones, or with some
natural fruits. Since I was 19, I started to cook, and I have done my own dishes, my
specialty are the salsas asadas. I think that this hobbit for cooking was
spontaneous. I hope nearly I could make tamels con higo. I don’t know why, but I
really enjoy spending some days cooking!
My parents are a great teachers, the always instructed me the right way, they are
mi guides and my heroes. I hope that in the future I finish my degree and start
some investigations in order to bring on some knowledge at the medicine. I wonder
speak fluently at least, three idioms. I think that the most important is the English
because it introduce you on a new world, in a lot of senses, like being a good
tourist, and prepare yourself for a better job.

English is important too because, many medicine books are in this language. So, I
want to understand better, I know a little grammar, but I still have a long way to go,
but I will learned more.
