Do I need a foundation? WHAT TO BUDGEt FOR ON-SITE WORK?

Foundation
The unit can be placed directly on the ground. We recommend Utility Hook-Ups
either having the unit placed on a cement pad, concrete piers or
simply blocking under the four corners. Install
(Varies by location and property)

How does delivery work?

The most common way an ALT Container Home is delivered is on
a flatbed trailer. Delivery price can vary by size of unit and
distance.

How do i get it into my backyard?

Once it’s at the site we recommend a crane be used to place the
unit on a foundation. Crane install can vary from as low as $400 for
simple installs to +/- $1,000 for difficult installs.

additional 4 weeks since it’s a specialty size. If we have units in
inventory, you can recieve your unit within 2-4+ weeks.
Can it handle harsh climates?
All of our units are well insulated to If you are in an extreme
climate, additional measures can be taken to ensure it’s
sufficiently insulated.

Where can I place a tiny home?
The most common place for a tiny home is on your own property or
property owned by a family member or friend.
How do I move my tiny home?
We will be able to help you with logistics as it relates to getting the unit
delivered to your property and installed. It’s most common to have the units
delivered on a flatbed or tilt bed trailer. If your unit needs go placed in your
backyard, we often times use cranes to hoist the unit into the backyard.
