I. INTRODUCTION
Food is basic need in our everyday life. It is for the reason that most people and businesses
turn to the food industry . Aside from the fact that we enjoy eating, there is a wide range of foods
to choose from, depending on one’s taste, appetite, desires, and needs. With a new recipe that we
try, we learn something new and come up with new ideas. As a result, our new company, a fast
food restaurant, will do its utmost to meet the needs of our customers by keeping up with the
demands of the food industry. Our restaurant will be a sanctuary for those who want to eat in,
order takeout, socialize with friends, or simply relax alone.

C. Business Description : The fast food restaurant will be a property that will serve snacks and
drinks as well as have a relaxing and social environment. There will be services, chairs, and a
parking lot.

II. BUSINESS EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

A. Problem
People of all ages who live in the vicinity of the Municipal Plaza need not only delectable
and tasty food, but also a comfortable setting in which to meet, have a group conversation , or
simply sit quietly, work, and read. These places may be open now , but they are often
overcrowded , making it difficult for anyone to completely relax in the atmosphere.

B. Solution
Delico Burgers will be created to meet the needs of the general public,regardless of their
socioeconomic status or age. It will be a spot where they can unwind , socialize with friends, take a
break from work, or simply fulfill their cravings.

III. MANAGEMENT SECTION

Delico Burgers will employ a full-time manager to handle daily operations. The person
(whose identity has been withheld due to a current employment commitment)has three years of
management experience in the food industry. This person’s role would include overseeing the
employees, purchasing products , working with vendors , designing a marketing plan, and other
day-to-day management tasks. Our candidate, we believe, has the necessary experience for this
role. Based on the first year’s operational performance , a profit-sharing agreement for the
manager could be considered. A manager, two crews, and four other members will work together
at the personnel table to ensure that our fast food restaurant’s priorities and aspirations are met.

IV. MARKETING SECTION (MARKETING AND SALES)


A. Marketing Plan

Delico Burgers bills itself as one-of-a-kind food court where customers can not only eat
delicious burgers but also relax in relaxing environment. Customers will be able to relax from their
everyday pressures, thanks to comfortable sofas and tables ,dimmed lighting, and quiet calming
music,which will set Delico Burgers apart from its rivals.

Delico Burgers will use strategic banners and filters during the launch phase, customer
referrals and cross-promotions with other businesses in the community from time to time , and
loyalty services that operate with android, IOS, and other mobile phones, which is the choice of our
market, to build up its client base.

With content and interaction on Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, our main aim will
be to get people to know, like and trust us. We want to keep our social media accounts low on self-
serving commercial quasi-advertising content and heavy on group involvement, content and
interaction.

B. Sales Plan

At least two workers will be serving customers at Delico Burgers customer service-one will
be preparing the customer’s order, while the other will be handling the sales transaction. All sales
information logged on the computerized point-of-sale terminal will be analyzed for marketing
purposes later.

V. FINANCIAL SECTION

a. The estimated starting cost of the business is eight hundred thousand pesos (800,000.00)
which includes legal expenses such as permits and licenses for the shop and
taxes(72,000.00);insurance coverage and liability funds for workers and staff
(70,000.00);remodeling of the premises including furniture and interior
designs(450,000.00);and start-up expenses for websites, utility bills and other miscellaneous
fees(210,000.00)

b. The required start-up of assets an estimation of one million pesos(1,000,000.00)which


includes all the costs for plates,glasses ,food service equipment
(microwave,toasters,dishwasher,refrigerator,etc.),Storage hardware (bins,utensil rack,
shelves,food case). Counter area equipment (counter top,sink,ice machine, etc.)Serving area
equipment(plates,glasses,flatware),Store equipment (cash register, security, ventilation,
signage), Office equipment (PC, fax/printer,phone,furniture,file cabinets)and other
miscellaneous expenses.
2. Sources of Funds

Funding for the company comes from two major sources-owner’s family investments and
bank loans. The expenses and assets came from the two bank loans-a one-year loan in the amount
of (500,000)and a long term(three years) loan of (1,000,000). Both loans were secured through the
Banco De Oro (BDO).

VI. PRODUCTION SECTION

Location and Facilities

Delico Burgers will be located at Purok Lin-awa, Brgy. Dopaj, in front of the municipal hall of
Dupax del Sur , Nueva Vizcaya, near the Saint Vincent Ferrer Church, Dupax del Sur, Nueva Vizcaya,
Region II Cagayan Valley.

The company has won a one-year lease on the previously leased 2,500 square for space. The
lease deal has a three-year renewal option at a fixed rate, which Delico Burgers will exercise
depending on its financial status. A 200 square-foot rear office and a 2,300-square-foot food court
will be included in the floor design,which will contain a seating area with 15 tables, a kitchen,
storage space, and two bathrooms.

The restaurant’s space will be distributed as follows:1,260 square feet (or 55 percent of the
total)for the seating area,600 square feet(or 26% )for the production area, and 440 square
feet(19%)for the customer service area. This property is located within walking distance from the
Saint Vincent Ferrer Church, the RHU Dupax Sur, the Dupax del Sur Municipal Hall, and the
Governor Alfonso Castaneda Elementary School.

It is also within walking distance of the Saint Mary’s School of Dupax del Sur and the
Municipal Plaza. Furthermore, it is also within the location of busting related businesses where
students and other patrons often visit. The property has all of the necessary water and electricity
hookups, and only little renovation will be required to accommodate the kitchen and storage room.
The restaurant’s wide and airy interior design, complete with modern wooden accents, will reflect
the high quality of the drinks and snacks offered, as well as the establishment’s standing as an
electric gathering spot where customers can unwind and enjoy their meals. Clear window displays ,
which all allow passers-by to see customers enjoying their meals, as well as outside electric signs,
will be used to attract customer traffic.

VII. COMPETITIVE ANALYSIS

A. Current Alternatives
Delico Burgers faces a number of direct competitors, including all of the other food courts
and restaurants in the community, such as Jasper’s Pancitan, Diego’s ,Fatty Boy, and other burger-
related businesses. Diego’s will most likely be the most formidable opponent, as it currently has a
strong marketing, financial, and operational presence. Despite Diego’s competitive and
domineering stance many customers still choose small-scale eateries as long as they are cozy and
serve tasty meals and reasonable prices. Fatty Boy is the closest competitor in this situation due to
its smaller size and more appealing atmosphere, which draws 25% of consumers. An estimated
35% of those customers are regulars at Diego’s, 10% go to Jasper’s, and the remaining 30% are split
among the other restaurants that serve burgers.

B. Our Advantages

Delico Burgers will do everything possible and make everything every attempt to meet the
needs of its consumers,particularly those who want a daily burger in a relaxing environment. Since
most of the more known food court are teeming with customers on a daily basis, our restaurant will
cater to the students who want to make do of their students in a quieter place, the workers who
want to retire after a day’s worth of works, the old people who wanted to relax, the clientele who
wants an atmosphere with a boost of burgers smell as meet-up location, and to all the individuals
who want a quite time to themselves with a coffee and a book. This requirements will be met, and
customers happiness will be assured, which will benefit us as we establish a loyal client base.

VIII. MARKET

Delico Burgers will cater to the demands of all customers,regardless of their age, gender, or
socioeconomic background. Our primary goal is to meet their needs, and we will do everything we
can to deliver the best services possible. Furthermore, our restaurants does not solely cater to one
sort of customers, but we will do everything possible to possible to accommodate individuals
seeking a relaxing environment, a tasty burger, and a warm atmosphere.
