1. How does the man feel about his job?

The man gets bored with his job. It is too noisy and dangerous. Work goes on and does
not stop. There is no time to rest, and people don't care whether the workers are tired and
need to rest or not. They only care about making products.
2. Do you think that many workers today feel as he does? Explain your answer.
I guess that many factory workers may feel as he feels because they have to work non-
stop eight hours a day and do the same job over and over again. It sounds easy but standing for
too long at one spot and the line just keep going endlessly can cause boredom. Doing this job
makes people feel like a machine because of those repetitive steps. Despite those
contributions, workers are not treated better as machines of the line.
3. What examples can you find in the text of non-standard English?
I found four examples of non-standard English in the text. First, in paragraph three, it is in line
three: ' What me and brothers did’. Secondly, in paragraph four, it is in line three ‘It don't stop’
and ' I bet there's man’. Lastly, in paragraph four, it is also in line three ' they never will’.
