SIGNIFICANCE OF STUDY

The project is expected to be beneficial to the following groups of people :

(a) The student

Electronic circuit design and construction

Application of electronics in utility and industry Microcontroller programming,

Programming languages and actual circuit implementation

(b) The society

These are the benefits of the project to the society;

Efficient usage of energy as only appliances deliberately left on would stay on and other appliance
would be stopped.

Present a system that is capable of monitoring and controlling home appliances in real time

present a system by which Mobile device or any other internet enabled device could receive notification
when appliances are turn on or off.
