Posts: 1 Thank You! - sucessfully unlocked my virgin mobile G600 with

#*7337# = EEPROM Reset (Unlock and Resets Wap Settings)

had to get wap settings resent form the site and go through the time/date/theme setup again but
thats a small price to pay for a phone unlock!

uodate: its reset the imei to all 0's according to *#06# but the phone still works on all networks*
for calls and texts? - is this a problem worth correcting?

*my o2 sim gives limited service but its an old sim so might just be deactivarted

a word of caution;
Join Date: Nov 2006
Location: unlockathome.com these codes to unlock your phone are in fact 'reset codes' what they do is fully reset the phone and
Posts: 372 also the phone lock status which actually unlocks them.
The problem with these codes (specially on Swift platforms) is that they reset EVERYTHING and
also the calibration settings in the phone which can results in (very) bad reception and in some
cases even 'phone freeze' which makes the phone not usuable (can be fixed though). The
calibration settings however are VERY difficult to fix. To fix this manually you have to have a
backup of your eprom, write this back rewrite the imei and rewrite the Bluetooth ID to fix it. I
think the only other option is going to Samsung Service centre and have them completely
reprogram the phone.

Best regards,

Well, I have seen just a few problems in spanish forums working with this codes. And the problems
Join Date: Apr 2006 come from the IMEI and never from EROM settings. Anyway any guy with unlocking stuff (Like
Posts: 3,102 Nspro or UST) can do a readout of a Samsung phone and write to another. So calibration can be
copied and solved quite easy

No there is no free solution for the U900.

If you have original Samsung usb cable (comes with the phone) I can help you for unlock +
unfreeze for 25 euro.

Contact me private at sales@unlocksamsungonline.com if you are interrested.

I don't know about anybody else... but even though all the codes posted before were helpful, I just
Join Date: Oct 2008 couldn't get rid of the SP Unlock. After doing everything else, I still got 'wrong password' when I
Posts: 1 tried the unlock code.

Well... great news, I've cracked it. Follow the following, and it will work:

Basically the SP lock needs to be removed before the Network lock is disabled, so if you only have
SP lock on, you need to turn the Network lock back to active, disable the SP lock and then disable
Network lock. A reminder 'how to' is below:

Do a custom reset:
*2767*2878# once this has finished rebooting turn the phone off.

Next a SIM card from a different service provider needs to be pushed half in - (Push it fully in then
slide it back out by about 1/2 a centimeter),
Turn on the phone - you will now see an "Insert SIM" message,

Now perform a full reset:

*2767*3855#

When the phone powers off, quickly push the SIM card fully in, and let
the phone power back up.

After you do the reset, check and make sure that your Network lock is active by pressing
*#7465625#

If it isn't active you must use this code to reactivate it:

*7465625*638*00000000*00000000#

Then you have to deactivate the SP lock first. To do that you need to input:
*7465625*77*00000000*00000000# (this will reset the lock)

Then you enter:

#7465625*77*00000000# (to disable the SP lock).

Then you disable the Network lock:

#7465625*638*00000000#

The phone is finally unlocked.

Sorry its so long winded... but follow these instructions, and I promise it will work !

Good luck.
