Key Success Factors for the Inclusion of Students with Visual Disabilities incorporating ICT.

Abstract
Within the development of Higher Education, a topic of great relevance today is related to the
inclusion process, and within this Visual Disability (hereinafter DV), have generated an
important commitment to specialized training attention of people who are found in this
context. The above has represented a challenge in terms of the development of new
pedagogical strategies, management processes, seeking to achieve adequate results,
without desertion.
In the case that it was used as the axis to develop this research, the University of Pamplona,
incorporated students with DV, generated training and innovative processes, according to
pedagogical practice, teaching, Infrastructure, among others, without which it would not be
possible generate that inclusive action, if not adequate it would generate greater exclusion.
This research analyzes the strategic factors under which the inclusion of DV students in the
higher education process can be managed, in order to establish strategies within the
pedagogical process, incorporating ICT, as support tools, based on the schemes current
training for this type of people in other contexts, such as the current situation of this
population at the University of Pamplona. Posing an improvement proposal to optimize the
appropriation and necessary infrastructure in order to offer these inclusive schemes in the
university environment.

Esta investigación analiza los Factores estratégicos bajo los cuales se pude gestionar la
inclusión de estudiantes en condición de DV en el proceso de educación superior, para con
ello establecer estrategias dentro del proceso pedagógico, incorporando las TIC, como
herramientas de apoyo, basándose en los esquemas actuales de formación para este tipo de
personas en otros contextos, como la situación actual de esta población en la Universidad de
Pamplona. Planteando una propuesta de mejoramiento para optimar la apropiación e
infraestructura necesaria a fin de ofertar estos esquemas inclusivos en el entorno
universitario.
