This is a very old painting I made and as I was going through my work

to assemble in the portfolio, this is the picture that describes architec-

ture for me the best. This is what architecture is for me and always has
been, something so simple as walls , a roof ,windows and a door blended
in nature and how when put together, they create such a space which
is beyond expressions and as I am pursuing this field I know many more
forms of architecture, unique in their own ways but always beautiful.
For our habitat is not created in vacuum – it is the compulsive
expression of beliefs and aspirations (implicit & explicit) that
are central to our lives.

Kilkari is a proposed special needs cen-
ter for children with autism located in
the shymla hills area in the city of
lakes, Bhopal,India.The site is adjacent
to upper lake and Bharat Bhawan and
surrounded by lush green areas.
The main idea behind the zoning in the
project was to provide a combination of
both big and small spaces for the chil-
dren to gradually bring them out of the
box which they seem to build around
themselves.
The project is based on sensory inte-
gration as well as conceiving the tran-
sition spaces in such a way which helps
the children with autism to be a little
more comfortable with themselves.

We as human never know what can be tamed. We always want to at the center of the communication realm, always in the
race of being better and perfect to take everything in our control. But childhood is a place far away from this chaos.A place
which should not be deprived of any kind of imagination and nothing should deprive the child of these wonderful years.
