There’s Nothing better than hanging out with your friends.

[discourse marker] it was about a year ago, we were chatting and bored and talking the new
movie, suddenly, mostafa had a bright idea. Why not go to alex to see it.

I travelled to Alexandria with two of my closest friends. This was a year ago. We made it as we
needed to watch a new movie called “The Joker” in the cinema.

To start with,[we set off …/ we kicked off/ …] [ the first half of the day [morning] which was
before going to the cinema,

When we reached Alexandria, we started searching for a suitable hotel to stay in for two days.
After that, we went to a well known resturant called “el lol”; this place is located at the north of
the city opposite to kaitbay’s lighthouse.

I think if you asked any Alexandrian about the best place to eat sea food, they will definitely say
“ El lol”. After eating, [after lunch] we went to a café nearby near the cinema to drink a cup of
tea, by the way this drink is a part of our culture and we should drink the hot tea after lunch.

In the second half of the day, we watched the most awaited movie of 2019 [after the movie] and
we decided to set to on another café in the downtown area. This café is decorated a 50’s style
has special decoration that makes you feel that we are living in 50’s or 60’s. As usual with our
group of friend/ for us , we ranked the movie out of five. My rateing was 3 out of five. I
remember that we were joking about people feedback towards this movie. What others were
saying about the movie and the reviews and how they were sympathic to the Joker character.

It really shows how sentimental people can be. are sentimentals and how their feelings come
over the logical reasons.

They may shouted and screamed when they see a terrorist on TV. However, if somone tried to
show terrorists symathethically – this would not work.

the overdrama in this terrorist life, they may show empathy towards this person. Not only are
they saying that but also they add that he is a victim. In my eyes,[to my thinking/ in my opinion]
anybody who kills innocent people is a criminal whatever how his background was or whatever
how his childhood was.

Finally, [after a couple of hours of joking and chatting, we returned to the hotel and slept. In the
next day, next morning, we travelled [we went to station to catch a train back agin to Cairo.

In a nut shell,

it is important to relive your daily stress and to refres your mind. In my opinion, the only to do
that is by takeing away getting away with your closed friends. I can’t think of this trip without
laughter.
