Itinerary

Introduction
Embark on a comfortable journey along the Nile River on a Nile Cruiser. Relax on deck whilst
observing rural life on the shores and taking in the changing landscape of the mighty river.

Experience Egypt’s remarkable history when you explore Cairo’s wonders and temples. Relax on
the Red sea before heading back to Cairo and the famed Egyptian Museum. 

Day 1: Airport pick up to hotel in Cairo

Airport pick up in the first day ,

Start Point Cairo International Airport (CAI), Airport Rd, Al Shorouk,
Al Qahirah 11, Egypt

Arrive at Cairo airport where you will be met by our representative who will assist you through the
formalities. Transfer to your hotel to meet your guide for a briefing explaining the tour itinerary.
Overnight stay at your hotel in Cairo.

Day 2: Cairo - Giza

After breakfast we start the tour by visiting the awe-inspiring Great Pyramids and the Sphinx at the
Giza Plateau, before heading to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramid - the first completed pyramid in
Egypt - as well as ancient Pharonic tombs. Overnight on A/C bus to Aswan.

Day 3: Aswan
Arrive in Aswan. You will be met by our representative who will transfer you to your Nile Cruise.
 We begin the day with a tour of the romantic Philae Temple - perched atop a picturesque island; its
beautiful location is reached by small motor boat, making a truly magnificent approach to the site.
Overnight on your 5* Nile Cruise.

Day 4: Nile Cruise, Kom Ombo

Sail down the Nile in style, relaxing on deck whilst observing rural life on the shores and taking in
the changing landscape of the mighty river. Today we visit the temple of Kom Ombo - its perfectly
symmetrical twin entrances overlook the spectacular riverside. Continue along the Nile towards the
city of Luxor, often described as the world’s greatest open-air museum and home to some of the
grandest monuments that have survived from ancient Thebes. Overnight on your 5* Nile Cruise.

Day 5: Nile Cruise to Luxor

After breakfast, we arrive in Luxor, beginning the day with a tour of the East Bank of the Nile. Here
you will experience the immense Karnak Temple, considered by some as Egypt’s most important
Pharonic site - the country’s powerhouse of ancient times; as well as the magnificent Luxor Temple
where visitors are greeted by the impressive Avenue of Sphinxes. Overnight on your 5* Nile
Cruise.

Day 6: Luxor to Hurghada, Red Sea

After breakfast we explore the West Bank of Luxor, starting the tour with the world famous Valley of
the Kings, the richest archaeological site on earth. Then on to the breathtaking Temple of
Hatshepsut (Deir al-Bahri), built for the only woman to reign over Egypt as pharaoh. Finally we visit
the great Colossi of Memnon - the last remains of Amenophis III's temple. We then take the A/C
bus to Hurghada, Red Sea. Overnight stay at your hotel in Hurghada.

Day 7: Hurghada, Red Sea

This is a free day to be spent at your leisure. With snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving and good
food and drink available you will find much to do; or simply relax and enjoy the sun. Overnight stay
at your hotel in Hurghada.

Day 8: Hurghada, Red Sea

This is another free day to be spent at your leisure. With snorkeling, swimming, scuba diving and
good food and drink available you will find much to do; or simply relax and enjoy the sun. Overnight
on A/C bus to Cairo.

Day 9: Back to Cairo

Arrive in Cairo where you will be transferred to your hotel. Today we tour the City of Cairo,
beginning with the Egyptian Museum where you may view the treasures of King Tutankhamun’s
tomb. From there we head to the Coptic area of old Cairo to visit the hanging church, so named as
it is suspended above two Roman gate towers. Then on to the Mosque of Mohamed Ali, also
known as the Alabaster Mosque, which sits majestically on the summit of the Citadel of Saladin.
Afterwards we make our way to the old Cairo Bazaar, Khan El Khalili, with its maze of intriguing
alleyways that are home to numerous souvenir stalls and coffee shops. Overnight stay at your
hotel in Cairo.

Day 10: Cairo airport transfer

Airport drop of on the last day ,

End Point Cairo International Airport (CAI), Airport Rd, Al Shorouk,

Excellent trip with Ramez on the Best Of India tour. He was
knowledgeable and most of all, friendly to spend 10 days with. The
hotel buffets can get tiresome so I recommend trying some
restaurants and street foods when you get the chance.

My tour and our guide Mina Magdy were fantastic and I was
surprised how much I enjoyed it. The variety across 9/10 days was
superb, between seeing all the astonishing historical sites (some at
night which makes it feel even more special!), a Nile cruise that
comfortably best expectations in terms of the quality of the boat (the
food, the pool and the rooms etc), visiting the Red Sea for snorkelling
and a few days of relaxation, and the unrivalled intensity of Cairo. Our
guide Mina was a gentleman throughout and was clearly an expert on
the historical sites and provided concise commentary on what we
should be focusing upon, whilst giving us enough to explore and take
in the moments ourselves. Would recommend this tour and certainly
Mina as a guide to anyone. Thanks a lot, Andrew

I know it’s 5 stars but please read entire this review. Great points: 1.
Our tour guide Mina Magdy was EXCELLENT. He has an incredible
way with people, he is outgoing, entertaining and very, very
knowledgeable. Mina made everyone feel comfortable and deftly
navigated his was around a tour sites, dealing with guards, blocking
aggressive vendors and finessing various segments of Egyptians to
get us the best tour perks. He is awesome, you’ll want to request him
if possible. 2. The historic sites and monuments were unbelievable.
It’s one thing to see pictures of them but standing next to the Sphinx
or the Great Pyramids is entirely something else. 3. The level of
service and attention we received from the staff was unmatched. We
were well-taken care of from start to finish. The way the tour guide
zoomed us through customs at the airport immediately upon
disembarking the plane the flight was astonishing and that set the
standard for the entire trip. Not-so-great points: 1. I did not love the
cruise experience at all. In fact, this was my least favorite part. My
room had a heavy mildew odor and I had to switch it with a better
room. They accommodated the change quickly but it was very
disappointing. 2. Our hotel in Aswan was also not the best. It’s hard to
know which properties we’ll be staying in before the trip but make
sure you research each one before booking. The pictures paint an
overly optimistic picture of the rooms so use that as a gauge. 3. We

Had the trip of my lifetime on this Egypt Tour with Timeless Tours and
our guide, Nabil (Tiger) Shohdy! This experience was incredible from
"hello to goodbye". Mr. Hany answered my many questions
beforehand and even upgraded our hotel in Cairo to the Swiss Inn
Golf Resort due to my concerns over the Oasis Hotel. This was
excellent customer service and very much appreciated by all our
group! The Swiss Inn was beautiful and the food was excellent! Nabil
really made our trip special. He is a very passionate and
knowledgeable Egyptologist! His passion for Egypt comes through in
every presentation he did and everywhere we went. I really feel like
he became our "Egyptian Papa"! We put our total trust in him and he
made us feel very safe the entire time we were in Egypt. We really
had a great time with Nabil! I would recommend him 110%! The Nile
cruise was fantastic! Great ship (Medea) and amazing food. This was
my favorite part of the entire week! The temples and places we
visited were, of course, amazing history and Nabil really brought it to
life! The Valley of the Kings, Abu Simbel, Karnack, Luxor temple - it
was all so amazing! I recommend this tour so highly! I was initially
afraid to come to Egypt. I now know that Egypt is a safe place to
travel to and an amazing place to tour and visit! The time of my life!

The first day of the tour starts from Cairo Airport and as the first day is just an arrivals day
you can arrive at any time. A complimentary transfer will be waiting for you at the airport to

or start exploring and get ready for your upcoming adventure!
