Fashion in my environment

In this case we chose the micro course Management of Fashion and Luxury Companies since
the world of fashion draws my attention, mainly luxury fashion since it is a consumption which
requires recognized designers of big brands, in this case I will speak in my essay on luxury fashion in
my environment since Peru is going through a time in which several brands are investing in the
Peruvian market as recently Louis Vuitton joined the jockey plaza in the city of Lima.
Let's start by answering the question that made me understand the course What is fashion?
Well, fashion is a business, fashion is a format in which it is born to create trends, it is different. we
give a way to show who you are, for me fashion is the ability to create lasting styles that mark a
person's style. Fashion is a way of expressing inner beauty. For me, fashion is about self-expression
itself, it is very similar to art. Since it is a way of expressing your personality, it is also a way that
other people can believe about us, so it is a kind of status. It is a way of being creative and a business,
a trend. Something that a very large group of people share, but it is also a way of expressing what
oneself is like.
The main factor of the course that I liked was the development of the great styles that have
been seen over the years and related it to Peru since in these years we are seeing a large number of
new brands in our country, a radical change from fashion as we went from tight jeans and blouses to
baggy pants and cargo jeans, from blouses to over-size polo shirts, we went from not choosing the
brand to looking at the status of the product since we prefer to buy a polo or a shirt from a brand
recognized. Although not all people have this concept of fashion, many interested or expert people
look at these factors, the consumer has become more demanding and the style varies depending on the
person. For example, in my case I was affected by the luxury fashion of recent years since I have
seen, I have been interested in fashion,
There was also a point that interested me a lot how luxury brands since it is a very old model
why it was one of the first to establish itself Particularly in France and generally contain categories
such as hard luxury which are watches, jewelry or leather goods . luxury is something that has a value
proposition that has to be very clear. Luxury is not about fashion because it is the main one with high-
end fashion brands. Luxury is more about timelessness. It's about legacy, brand heritage. It has a lot to
do with the idea of uniqueness, exclusivity and craftsmanship. It is the value proposition and what the
customer is used to to brand the brand. A second element is that the delivered product has a lot to do
with hard luxury. Another thing that I kept in mind when talking about luxury brands is that what is at
the center of a luxury brand is the brand itself. Your heritage eat your tradition. The brand has great
authority. And this is very different from a fashion brand where the heart of a fashion brand that you
have is design. How the designer is, how he interprets trends, the fashion show, is essential for a
fashion brand. So this is very important to position a luxury brand.

Taking into account the relationship of Management of Fashion and Luxury Companies with
Peru, there has been a great advance in our country since, as I said before, recognized fashion and
luxury brands have decided to invest in Peru, thanks to this there has been a great change in fashion,
the way of expressing the style of Peruvians as we see different styles on the streets, we see
accessories from brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Christian Dior, the line of Jordan sneakers
from the Nike brand and many more products. The contribution of fashion to a group of people also
intervenes in national fashion and thanks to this it has been decided to invest in Peru, for me it is the
most interesting of the course (the market)
In conclusion, fashion has been around for many years, but it has become much more
important in recent years and in this century. As time goes by, trends are implemented which have a
cycle, the designs are increasingly innovative, the consumer increasingly pays more for a product,
luxury fashion increasingly gains more importance as the years go by and one person each time He is
more interested in his style and this will follow a process which will not have a defined end, so in a
few years we will see the same cycle of fashion and trends, increasingly implementing luxury fashion.
