Real Time Error Codes

SMCS - 1931

This function will display errors of the electronic control system that are detected by the controller for
problems that exist presently.

1. Enter service code 18. First, the character display shows "18t oP". Then, the character display
shows the error code. The error that is occurring is shown on the right four character positions.
The following procedure should be used to view the error code. "End" is displayed on the
character display, if no error is present.

2. The fine control mode switch (25) is pressed in order to flash "18t oP" on and off.

3. The character display will show the existing error codes in ascending order by pressing the
boom priority mode switch (23). The character display will show "End" at the last display.

4. When the swing priority mode switch (24) is depressed, the character display shows the
existing error codes in descending order. The character display will show "18t oP" at the last
display.

Real Time Error Code (Attachments)

This function will display the errors that are detected by the controller in the attachment parts.

1. Enter service code 1C. The character display will display "1C t oP" first. Then, the character
display will display the error codes. The following procedure is used in order to view the error
codes that are present. The error codes are displayed in the right four character positions. The
display will show "End"on the character display, if no problems are present.

2. The fine control mode switch (25) is pressed in order to flash "1C t oP" on and off.

3. When the boom priority mode switch (23) is depressed, the character display displays the
existing error codes in ascending order. When the end of the list is reached, the character
display will show "End".

4. When the swing priority mode switch (24) is depressed, the character display will display the
existing error codes in descending order. When the end of the list is reached, the character
display will show "A t oP".

1. Enter service code 19. The character display displays "1d t oP". Then, the character display
displays the error codes that are stored in the memory of the controller. The following
procedure is used to view the stored codes. These error codes are displayed on the right four
character positions. An error that is not present is kept in the memory until the error is cleared.
The procedure that is used to clear the memory is described later.

2. The fine control mode switch (25) is pressed to flash "1d t oP" on and off.

3. When the boom priority mode switch (23) is depressed, the past error codes are displayed in
ascending order. When all of the stored error codes have been scanned the display will show
"End".

4. When the swing priority mode switch (24) is depressed, the past error codes are displayed in
descending order. When all of the stored error codes have been scanned the display will show "t
oP".

5. In order to clear all of the error codes in the memory, the power mode switch (19) and the travel
alarm cancel switch (22) are pressed and held for 2 seconds or more. When the display shows
"CLr", the error codes in the memory have been cleared.

6. Error codes are identical to real time error codes.

Note: After the corresponding problem has been corrected, clear the error code. Ensure that the error
code is no longer displayed.
