1st proposal

“A MODERN SPORTS FACILITY AND EVACUATION CENTER”

An energy-efficient building

1st Problem: the Philippines has failed to rank among the world’s best. our athletes, are lack in
nutrition, are lack in physical and mental conditioning, how they can be mentally strong if there Are not
physically strong? we don’t have training facilities.

2nd problem: we don’t have a proper evacuation facilities that can accommodate a huge number of
family in times of calamity.

Basic objective
my goal here is to recognize the Philippines in the field of sports by helping our athletes to practice their
skills and ability in sports. And also to help the family who is in need.

Initial idea
In the past Olympic season this July-august 2021 only Hidilyn diaz took home the gold medal in
Philippines. And the rest is silver and bronze medal for a total of 14 medals for Philippines. So I
thought one of the reasons for this is the lack of sports facilities, so I provided or made a proposal for
our heroes or our Filipino athletes so that they can practice properly. I will provide a training facility
where all the equipment or the facility needs of our athletes are complete. it's not just a sports facility, it
can also be used as an evacuation center in the middle of a disaster, it can occupy huge numbers of
families so that they don't have to crowd into the small facility that is given to them now when there is a
disaster.

Significance of the Project

this sports facility is a big impact for our country because our athletes can master there skills using this
facility. we will have a chance to take home many medals and attract tourists to visit the country once it
is recognized. it can even help our society in times of disaster.

2nd Proposal
 “community garden”
an urban park for less
Problem statement: With growing populations come the
demands of urbanization. many of our Filipinos today are crying out for help
because there is nothing to eat every day. There are different examples of
parks, But in Metro Manila, with so many people migrating and with the strain
on the built-up environment, we don’t have enough parks in metro manila.

Initial idea: Community gardens are the latest trend

for sustainable living in urban areas due to rising health issues in
the cities. It helps promote farming as an activity where locals can also get involved in the activities and
encourage them to use gardens as recreational spaces. The gardens assist in the sustainable development
of urban areas.

Basic objective: To make a city livable and sustainable, urban parks play a key role to
provide a healthy lifestyle for the residents of the city. It provides transformative spaces for the
congregation and community development. Public parks are very crucial within the cities because they
are often the only major greenery source for the area.

Significance of the Project: Besides many environmental and ecological

services, urban nature provides important social and psychological benefits to human societies, which
enrich human life with meanings and emotions. City parks encourage active lifestyles and reduce health
costs, City parks strengthen local economies and create job opportunities, City parks make cities more
resilient, City parks increase community engagement and reduce crime, City parks help clean the air
and improve public health, City parks are a tool for cities to achieve their equity goals.

3rd Proposal
“Agri-Food-tural hub”
An agricultural hub
Problem statement: With growing populations
come the demands of urbanization. many of our Filipinos today are
crying out for help because there is nothing to eat every day.
Basic objective: to enhance the environmental, economic, social and nutritional shape
of a specific region. The main goal is to develop the agriculture sector to be able to attain food self-
sufficiency, uplift the rural community and increase the income of the farmers. Agriculture's
contribution to the economy is estimated to be about 40 per cent of gross domestic product (GDP) and
two-thirds of jobs arise from agriculture.

Initial idea: Urban agriculture centers accommodate the space for cultivating,
processing, and distribution of food in any urban area. The center helps to improve the quality
of life and provides them healthy options to eat. Fresh fruits, vegetables, and meat products
through the center improves food safety. The center can also be made a learning hub for people
to collaborate and share their knowledge of sustainable food production. It can create
awareness and improve the eating habits of people.

Significance of the Project: the agri-food-tural hub is a great help to our

people especially to our farmers because they will have the opportunity to work here and help
their family. many of the poor will also be able to eat because of it.
