ONE TRIP // Un viaje
I remember my best trip was with my brother and some friends./// First I
traveled to Barranquilla to watch the Colombia vs Peru soccer game./// where
I got to see a lot of my favorite soccer players. /// The next day I went to
Cartagena to be at the beach for the first time. /// There, I went on a boat to
“Oceanario rosario Islands”, to see the turtles and the sharks. After that I
returned home.

Technology is very relevant, it helps for communication, saves up time, it's new
and innovative, helps for education, and sometimes it's fun

WHAT DID YOU DO DURING THE PANDEMIC? // qué hiciste durante la
pandemia?
During the pandemic ///I was working all the time and reading books. /// The
pandemic to me was not as hard as it was for others/// Thanks to that, I had
good money and was not quarantined all the time like the others. ///
Unfortunately, I could not register in the university because of a simca
mistake. therefore I had to work that semester.

FUTURE PLANS
WHAT PREDICTIONS CAN YOU MAKE ABOUT YOUR FUTURE? / ¿que
predicciones puede hacer para su futuro?
First of all, I would like to pass the English exam (PSI), finish the civil
engineering degree /// I want to keep studying after I graduate and get a
masters degree /// then I want to live in another city or country, work as a civil
engineer and start a family with Emily.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE PANDEMIC // que opinas de la pandemia
I think that the pandemic will keep going for much longer /// but people will
start to do everything normally like before. /// Maybe because people do not
follow the health recommendations /// so people will continue to get infected.

I remember that birthday. /// First, at noon, I went to get my hair cut.. Then, I
bought a T-shirt and shoes, and got home. /// There, my family, my friends and
my girlfriend waited for me /// and then we had cake, soda and snacks ///.
Later, we had a special dinner. When we finished, we went to dance at
Sandunga.

WHAT WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED BECAUSE

I learned that family is more important than anything else /// and sometimes
we do not have it as a priority /// because we focus on other things that are not
very important.
WHO IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON IN YOUR LIFE RIGHT NOW? // cual
es la persona más importante en tu vida ahora mismo?
Right now the most important person in my life is Emily, my girlfriend. ///
Emily is small with long black hair and has brown eyes. ///. She loves animals,
and she has 2 dogs and one cat. /// Because of that she studies veterinary. She
has been with me for over 2 years. /// Emily is always very supportive with what
I do. I love her.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO AFTER THIS EXAM? //que vas hacer después

I have to attend a meeting with my brother in the city of Bogota. /// We have a
meeting with the President Ivan Duque Marquez called Compex /// in which
we are going to sign a paper to avoid having leaders’ assassinations in
Colombia.
WHAT DID YOU DO YESTERDAY// que hiciste ayer?
Yesterday I saw a class in the university, then I went to play soccer. /// Finally, I
went to visit my girlfriend for a while, /// and returned home.
When was the last time you spoke to a friend? // cuándo fue la última vez

Last weekend when I went to play a soccer game, /// I met up with a friend
that I haven’t spoken to since I graduated from school. /// He told me he
studies medicine in Medellin and he almost never comes to Popayan.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU STUDIED ENGLISH? // cuanto tiempo lleva
estudiando ingles?
I have been studying English since I was in School. /// It has been more than
eleven years now /// but now that I'm about to finish my studies at the
University of Cauca /// I have been focusing more on this. /// Since I consider it
is very important to know a different language than Spanish /// so in my
opinion knowing languages is pretty relevant nowadays.
HAVE YOU EVER TRAVELED TO ANOTHER COUNTRY? // Has viajado
alguna vez a otro país?
No, I have not. but I would love to go to the United States of America in a few
years.

Some years ago I had a trip with my friends and we went to Ecuador. /// To be
more exact to the coast of that country. /// We visited Montañita and some
other parts but that was the only time. /// That was like 5 years ago. ///Actually
it was a very good experience because when we travel with other people we
share expenses so it's not really expensive in general terms. (OPCIONAL)

What activities do you do to improve your English? // que actividades

I watch series in English with subtitles, /// I have my phone in English /// I also
listen to music in English so I can understand better.
How long have you practiced your sport and where?//Hace cuánto
practicas tu deporte y en qué lugar?
I have practiced soccer since I was 10 years old and I always played in the
Senas soccer field near my house. I have participated in various
tournaments like Pony football and Claro cup. Now I play in synthetic fields.

What are your plans for christmas or vacations?// que harás estas

I have to study until we start vacations then get together with all my family
and my girlfriend for christmas day and new years too. Where going to have
special dinners with a lot of food
What will you do this weekend?// qué harás el fin de semana?

On saturday i'm going to go to work then go play a soccer game in the

afternoon then study for an exam. On sunday i wanted to dedicate my day to
keep on studying for the exam and at night go and have dinner with some
friends.
