LESSON PLAN IN PRACTICAL RESEARCH 2

I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the learner is able to:
a. understand some basic principles when designing a research
b. implement design principles to produce creative artwork
c. cooperate during group activity
II. Subject Matter:
Topic: Design Principles in Practical Research 2
Materials: Manila papers, pentel pens, activity sheets, visual aids

III. Procedure:
A. Drill/Review:
Students will have a review on the different research designs and methods.
B. Motivation
Present to the students that aside from the different research designs and
methods that they can use in their research, there are research design principles
that they need to know and do in order to produce a creative artwork/research.
C. Activity
Students will be given a 10-minutes group activity. Each group will enumerate
the ideas they have on design principles in research. Manila papers and pentel
pens will be given to them.
D. Analysis
For the analysis, each group will have a report on what they’ve written on the
manila papers. They will explain on why the design principle they wrote is
important to research.
E. Abstraction
The teacher will add some basic design principles and students will answer the
question: How will these design principles help you in producing a creative
artwork?
F. Application
The students will go to their research group and share the design principles they
learned from their group during the first group activity. (Assuming that the
students already have their research group.)
IV. Evaluation
The research groups will now implement the design principles for their research.
V. Homework/Assignment
Ask the students to write their reflections about the lesson, such as what they
learned. Students can reflect on the lesson.
