 The role of a forensic document expert as a witness in court is crucial since the
forensic document expert has all knowledge of that particular crime. Every
forensic document expert must be knowledgeable, well-organized, observant,
unflappable, and ethical. To avoid having trouble accessing the court's
recognition as an expert witness to determine what happened to a document,
determine when a document was generated, or discern information on the
document that has been concealed, obliterated, or destroyed, the questioned
document examiner must have learned the principle of identification and provided
evidence of training and expertise to the court. A document examiner is
commonly requested to evaluate if a questioned item came from the same
source as the known item and then testify in court as an expert witness.

Activity 2. Discuss the behavior which a forensic document expert should manifest
during the court presentation in order to obtain conviction.
 An expert forensic document examiner, must exhibit or show the qualities of a
well-disciplined, confident in his viewpoint or expertise, gentle in a pleasant
manner. To make a good first impression in court, the QDE expert must be well-
dressed and behave. An examiner must be confident in expertise, knowledge,
and experience since this will create the idea that the examiner is a competent
and knowledgeable expert witness, and his or her profession will not be
questioned. Furthermore, the DQE expert should communicate politely or
pleasantly, as this will reflect sincerity and assist the court authorities in believing
thoughts and decisions.

 The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, or BSP, purposely updated the characteristics
of the BSP currency since the criminal offense of counterfeiting money bills is
common nowadays. Therefore, it is our government's response to and defense
against this illegal behavior. In this new generation, we have technical
advancements, we can now improve the security features of built-in BSP money,
and we should be mindful of security features incorporated with banknotes to
recognize counterfeit notes.

Activity 2. Explain the statement “If the law has made you a witness, you will remain a
man of science. You have no victim to avenge, no guilty or innocent to ruin or save.
You will bear witness within the limits of science”

 From what I've learned, becoming a forensic science specialist transforms you
from a regular person into a vital member of society. If you become a witness to
a crime or have knowledge of how it was committed, you must share the truth
without interfering with it. Since an expert in a particular field of study, such as
forensic science, is called as a witness to testify to the findings of a particular
investigation, he or she must stick to the findings, detailing what was discovered
during the examination.
