1. Creating a new file

File Path: We can create a new folder which is named after our own name.

The files are saved in our own folder for search.

2. creating a cylinder

Click "insert" - "design feature" - "cylinder" and the "cylinder" dialog box pops up.
Input the data as shown in Fig.1-3 and click‘ok.’.

3. creating a block

Click "insert" - "design feature" - "block" and the "block" dialog box pops up.
Input the data and click the specify point icon’ ’. After that the point dialog pops up.
Input the point’s data and click ’ok’ to finish the block as shown in the Fig.1-4.

4. creating a pad

Click "insert" - "design feature" - "pad", then the "pad" dialog box pops up.

Select the ‘rectangular’ and select the under surface of the rectangular of this model
for placing the pad.
Select the edge of the under surface as the reference edge of this pad as shown in
the Fig.1-5.

Input the data as shown in Fig.1-5 to click ‘ok’ and the ‘positioning’ dialogue box pops
up, in which we should select the forth icon.

Select two edges belonged to the block and object respectively in sequence as
shown in Fig1-6 and input the data to define the location.

Repeat to select the forth icon and repeat above step to define the horizontal location
as shown in Fig.1-7 and Fig.1-8.

5. creating a hole

Click "insert" - "design feature" - "hole" and the "hole" dialogue box pops up.
Input the data and select the borderline of the upper surface to snap the center of the
circle in this view as shown in Fig 1-9.

Click the ‘ok’ to finish the hole. Continue to create another hole as shown in Fig.1-10.
Point the upper surface as the place surface and the sketch interface pops up.
Sketch the point then to dimension this point as shown in Fig.1-11. Click ‘ok’ to finish
the second hole as shown in Fig.1-12.

In the same way we can finish the side hole as shown in Fig.1-13.

6. Edge blending

Click ‘insert’--’detail feature’—‘edge blend’ command as shown in Fig.1-14.
