Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made
us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the
saints in light (Colossians 1:12).
W
hen many hear ‘thanksgiving’, what comes to
their minds is usually the thanksgiving offering,
which is good; God expects us to thank Him with
our offerings. But thanksgiving is much more than giving
your offerings; it ought to be a way of life.
The Bible says God has blessed us with all spiritual
blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus (Ephesians
1:3). This is enough to make you ecstatic with gratitude
to the Lord every day of your life. How could anyone
read or hear that and still be complaining? God wants us
to give thanks every day, not complain. The Scripture is
clear in saying that this is the will of God concerning you
(1 Thessalonians 5:18).
A life of daily thanksgiving, however, doesn’t suggest a
life devoid of challenges. Challenges may come, but in
the midst of it all, lift your hands and say, “Lord, I give
thanks, for greater is He that’s in me than he that’s in the
world.” There’s no need to complain or grumble about any
situation. As a child of God, you were born into victory; you
can’t be disadvantaged.
Romans 8:28 says, “…we know that all things work
together for good to them that love God, to them who
are the called according to his purpose.” This is why
the Lord expects you to always give thanks. Even now, lift
your hands and give thanks because you’ve overcome the
world; you’re more than a conqueror!
Think about Jesus: during His ministry in the earth, He
prayed on several occasions, but mostly in gratitude to
the Father. When He was to raise Lazarus from the dead
(someone who had been dead and buried for four days),
He didn’t wail or beg; He gave thanks. He said, “…Father,
I thank thee that thou hast heard me” (John 11:41).
In St. John’s Gospel, He had ended His ministration to a
multitude that followed Him to the desert area but didn’t

want to send them home hungry. All that was available
was a little boy’s lunch: five mini loaves of bread and two
fishes. That certainly wouldn’t suffice to feed a teeming
multitude of five thousand men (women and children
not counted).
But the Bible says, “And Jesus took the loaves; and
when he had given thanks, he distributed to the
disciples, and the disciples to them that were set
down; and likewise of the fishes as much as they
would” (John 6:11). Notice what He did that resulted in
the miracle: He gave thanks!
Again, Jesus taught on the importance and benefit of
worship and thanksgiving using the story of the ten lepers
in Luke 17:12-19. Ten lepers had cried to the Master for
help and He told them to present themselves to the priest.
As they went, they were all healed. However, only one
turned around to thank the Lord.
Jesus commended the one who returned to give glory to
God and said to him, “Arise, go your way: your faith has
made you whole.” By coming to thank God for his miracle,
the man got something more than healing; he was made
whole. Everything he had lost as a result of the leprosy
was completely restored.
When was the last time you gave thanks for something
you realized you needed, without asking God for it? That’s
the life you ought to be living as a Christian. Cultivate
the lifestyle of thanksgiving. All things are yours already;
therefore, when you think there’s something you require,
give thanks to God for it because it’s yours already.
As you take stock of the year, don’t complain, grumble, or
reminisce over the disappointments of yesterday! Rather,
let it be a time of gratitude, praise, joy, and thanksgiving.
Let it be a time to count your blessings and worship the
Lord specially and passionately from your spirit.
 PRAYER OF SALVATION
If you want to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your
life, then say this prayer, believing with all your
heart:

“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living
God. I believe that God raised Him from the dead
and I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is
the Lord of my life from today. I receive, by faith,
remission of sins for my soul. Right now, in the
Name of Jesus Christ, I receive eternal life into my
spirit. I am born again!”

his isn’t just a story, it’s a testament to the illimitable power of our
God; a manifestation of the resurrection power of Christ. On Saturday,
10 July 2021, Isaiah Joshua – a 22-year-old living in Abuja, Nigeria
– had been severely weakened by repeated bouts of diarrhea. On Sunday
morning, he went to church but couldn’t concentrate on anything in the
service because of the pain, and he kept having to use the restroom. “With
the way I felt that day, I knew I was dying. A voice kept telling me, ‘Isaiah,
you’re going to die,’” he discloses.

Isaiah had been planning to attend the Healing Streams Live Healing Services
with Pastor Chris later that evening but, in a world of pain, he didn’t think he
would make it. After service, he went home to get some rest. He recounts, “I
was sleeping when my friend came and woke me up to say it was time to go,
and so I followed him to the healing center.” That decision would prove to be
a life-saving one.

During the service, Isaiah tried to focus but it was too hard. “I started feeling
dizzy and, the next thing I knew, I collapsed. I struggled to breathe, but I
couldn’t. At a point, I got tired and I just gave up because the struggle was too
much for me,” he recalls.

The moment he collapsed, several people rushed to his aid; they noticed he
stopped breathing and for the next 25 minutes, they tried to resuscitate him but
couldn’t. A nurse came on the scene and checked him, but there were no signs
of life. She confirmed that Isaiah was dead.

Not willing to accept this report as final, Isaiah’s friend – Dickson Kalaibu –
loaded his body into a car and headed for the hospital. “Isaiah had collapsed.
He was no longer responding to anything. I told myself that, on this day of the
Healing Streams, Isaiah could not die,” he says.

Meanwhile, Isaiah reports that he actually found himself outside his body,
having a very strange experience.

He narrates: “When I gave up, I suddenly found myself outside the healing
center. I was very confused as to how I got there. I couldn’t control anything, I
just drifted. I decided to go back into the healing center and I tried to turn the
door handle, but my hand passed through it and I just went through the door.

“As I entered into the healing center, I saw my body lying on the floor; it was like
looking in a mirror. I tried several times to go back into my body but I couldn’t.
Suddenly, I found myself outside, in the middle of the road and, rather than hit
me, cars were just passing through me. That’s when I realized I was dead.”

The matter had been reported to the pastor coordinating
the healing center and her reaction was to stand firm
on God’s Word. “When I got the call, I asked about his
condition and they said he was unconscious and no longer
breathing, that his body was cold. But I said, ‘No. We’re not
going to observe lying vanities.’ So, I told them to put the
phone on his ear,” Pastor Nkechi Egoh recalls.
A phone connected to the healing service was placed on
his ear while those with him continued to pray. En route to
the hospital, the car broke down and it looked like all hope
was lost.
Meanwhile, in the ongoing program, the man of God,
Pastor Chris, had arrived and was ministering to the global
congregation by the power of the Holy Spirit. “I command
life into your body in the Name of Jesus!” he declared.
Isaiah continues narrating the happenings from his
out-of-body perspective: “I was still on the road when
someone tapped me on the back. I turned and saw it was
Pastor Chris. He said, ‘Isaiah, go back. It’s not yet time.’
He then stopped a car and when I looked into the car, I
saw my body lying inside it.
“Pastor Chris opened the door for me at the same time
someone was opening the car door to alight and check
the engine. A force pushed me into my body and that was
when I came back and started breathing. I touched my
friend to be sure I was really back to life and in my body.”

go back. It’s not yet time.’ A

He had come back to life! God had raised Isaiah back to life
from the dead! Strong, healthy, and perfectly fine, Isaiah
and all those with him marveled at this glorious miracle.
Though the people with him insisted, Isaiah wouldn’t
let them take him to the hospital. The instruction from
Pastor Chris had been explicit: “Go back.” To Isaiah, that
meant back into his body and back to the healing center.
So, the group returned to the healing center to continue
with the healing service. Upon their arrival, Isaiah made a
discovery that left him awed and amazed. He says, “When
I entered the church, the first thing I looked at was the
screen. And I saw Pastor wearing the same clothes he
was wearing during that experience.”
This was remarkable because he hadn’t seen the man of
God before he collapsed and died.
“By the time the healing service was over, he was
standing and moving on his own. He was fully healthy
and strong. The following day, he was able to go back
to work,” Pastor Nkechi reports.
Once dead but now alive! This divine encounter with the
Spirit of God has left Isaiah with clarity of purpose: he is
alive unto God and is determined to live for God in every
way and in everything. He talks about the significance of
this miracle and expresses gratitude to God.
“Since that day, I’ve become a new person,” he says. “I’ve
seen so many people die, including my younger brother,
but they never came back to life. I am alive today and I
feel so loved by God; He could have brought back anyone
else, but He chose me. This is the testimony of a lifetime
and I will keep sharing it until the rapture. I promise to
serve God for the rest of my life.
“I appreciate God for bringing me back to life. And I thank
the man of God for yielding himself for God’s use in this
generation. I thank God for the Healing Streams; without
it, I don’t know where I would be today.”
To those who may be afflicted by illness or in dire straits,
Isaiah has a simple yet profound message: “Let your faith
be stirred up. Connect to the power of God today. This is
your moment to be healed. If God can raise me from the
dead, every other ailment is nothing.”

and for my healing that
came through reading the
September 2021 edition of
the Healing to the Nations
Magazine.

I fractured the ninth rib on the

left side of my body, and it was
so painful. I felt like someone was
stabbing me in that side all the
time, and like a hammer was hitting my chest. I couldn’t lie on the left side
of my body and every time I tried to pull myself up, it would hurt so badly. I
experienced this for three to four months, and it got to the point where I couldn’t
work because of the pain.

One night, I was reading through my copy of the Healing to the Nations
Magazine and I came across an article titled ‘God Honors Faith’. A section in that
article said, “Faith must be based on the Word of God. You accept what the Word
has said, whether or not there’s physical evidence, and act that way.”

After I read the magazine, I believed and received what the Word of God was saying
to me, and I said a simple prayer in the dark. After I said that prayer, I touched the
part of my body that was in pain and the pain had completely disappeared! I was so
joyful! I got out of bed, turned the lights on, and started twisting my body. I laughed
with so much joy! I was instantly healed! My fractured rib had been mended by the
Spirit of God!

I thank my man of God, Pastor Chris, for bringing healing to me. Now, I can move
around with complete freedom and do all the things I couldn’t do because of the
fracture. I had stopped working because my job is very physical in nature, but now
I’m back to work.

elcome to December. A season of joy and
thanksgiving. A season to be jolly and merry.
This month, you’re going to do a lot of singing
as you lift up your voice and holy hands in praise and
thanks to the Lord for the marvelous things He has
done in our Year of Preparation. You’ll also be out and
about, turning many to righteousness and salvation in
Christ as you tell them of God’s love for them and how
they are the reason for the season of celebration that
is Christmas.
In all these, you need your voice to remain steady,
strong, and healthy. So, let’s go over a few tips for
keeping your voice healthy and in good working order.
Avoid Shouting
Shouting excessively and for long periods can irritate
the vocal cords and even cause injuries to your larynx
(voice box). Yes, you will shout and make joyful noises,
but the Bible counsels us to be temperate in all things.
If you find that your throat feels irritated after talking
for a little while, you should learn to speak in a relaxed
manner with the pitch of your voice slightly raised; it’s a
great way to preserve your vocal cords.
Sleep Well
Research has shown that insufficient sleep is bad for
vocal performance. In addition to its effects on your
general state of health, sleeplessness harms the fine
muscle coordination that goes into the production
of your voice. Invest in a good bed and keep your
bedroom clean, tidy, and airy to improve your quality
of sleep. Don’t sleep in a draft; if you must use a fan,
keep it at least 3 meters away from your body. Also,
avoid sleeping late.
Eat The Right Foods
A diet rich in fruits and vegetables is great for your body
in general and your voice in particular. Professional
singers will often tell you that fried and frozen foods
hurt your voice quality, so cut back on those. Fruits
rich in vitamins A and C are great for the voice and
taste good too! Have fun eating them in fruit salads or
blending them into smoothies.

Stay Hydrated
Drinking the right amount of water is pivotal to good
health. Your voice is produced by a complex process
involving fine muscle coordination, and water helps
your vocal muscles contract and relax as needed.
Water also soothes and protects the mucous
membranes in your throat. As much as possible, stick
to water that’s lukewarm or room temperature. Cold
water stiffens the muscles and is not the best for your
vocal health.
Stay Warm
If this is winter in your region, dress appropriately for
the weather. Dress in layers, put on a pair of gloves,
and don’t forget to wrap a scarf around your neck.
Staying warm is good for more than just your voice;
your entire body will benefit from it.
Breathe Properly
There is a proper way to breathe and you probably do
it when you’re asleep. When you’re awake, however,
it’s a completely different matter. What’s the proper
way to breathe? You breathe in by taking care to keep
your shoulders and neck relaxed and letting your
abdomen push out. You’ll find that breathing in this
way is quite calming. Try to always breathe like this.
You’ll notice that you use less force when talking and
your voice is less likely to break.
Exercise Regularly
One great way to protect your voice is to exercise.
Vigorous exercise forces you to breathe deeply under
some pressure, so you’ll find that you breathe deeper
and speak and sing with a stronger, richer voice after
a while.
A Few More Things
If your voice feels strained or irritated, rest your voice
and talk or sing only when absolutely necessary. There
are also home remedies like ginger, lemon, and honey
tea that can help your voice relax and recover.
Now, you’re all set for a great season of celebration
and rejoicing as we look forward to a glorious new year.

ivine healing is one of the beginning stages of a greater life. Healing is wonderful, but there’s a greater life
than healing. God doesn’t want you to live in the realm of getting healed from one sickness or the other
every now and then. He wants you to come to a place of victory, where you understand divine health, which
is greater than divine healing.

God’s plan for you is divine health! He doesn’t want you suffering from headaches, colds and fevers; there should
be no diabetes, stomach trouble, or any such thing with you. Grasp this truth and live by it. If you’ve been falling
in and out of sickness, if you experience any symptoms in your body, don’t panic. Use the Word! Keep yourself in
health with God’s Word; it’s medicine.

CONFESSIONS
God’s unfailing Word has brought me to a place of rest,
strength, power, and dominion. Supernatural blessings,
divine health, and prosperity are mine in abundance. I’m
impregnable to pain, sickness, disease, and infirmity. I’ll
never be sick another day in my life because the Word
of God guarantees my divine health.
Thank You, Father, for making me an associate of the
God-kind. I am conscious of the divine life that is at work
in me daily, causing me to dwell in health every day. No
infirmity can thrive in my body because Christ is my life.
I have received an abundance of grace, and I reign in life
with dominion over sickness and death. I have received
eternal life, which makes it impossible for sickness and
disease to dominate my body. No infirmity can corrupt
or ravage my body.
The Word of God is working mightily in me. No matter
the circumstance, regardless of what I feel or see,
the Word produces what it talks about in my life. I am
full of life! By the Word, I live in safety, health, victory,
prosperity, joy, and love. Blessed be God!

God’s Word in my mouth is quick and powerful, sharper
than any two-edged sword. With my words, I cut down
every challenge and situation that is contrary to the
provisions of the Kingdom. I refuse to be sick because
the life of God is in me, pulsating through every part of
my body. Blessed be God!
I live a triumphant and glorious life in Christ, far above
the world and its systems. The glory of God is at work in
me; therefore, sickness, disease, and infirmity have no
place in or around me. My life is the manifestation of the
beauty and perfection of Christ. Glory to God!
I live in the glorious liberty of my divine life in Christ.
I grow daily in grace and in the wisdom of God. My
body is sound; its systems and organs are functioning
perfectly. I’m waxing stronger and stronger every
day. I’m full of joy, peace, love, and kindness, and I’m
continually filled with the Spirit of God. Hallelujah!
The ability of God is at work in me today and I’m
conscious of it! I don’t function in my own ability or
strength, for my sufficiency is of God. My strength is
renewed daily and I’m divinely energized at all times for
victory and all-around success. Amen.

Life springs up from within me because I am a life-giving I walk in divine health, wellness, and wholeness
spirit. I am a dispenser and a giver of life to everyone because I am in Christ. Christ is my life! His wisdom,
and everything I come in contact with. When I lay hands righteousness, peace, glory, and joy are resplendent in
on the sick, they recover. I refuse and reject sickness; it me and expressed through me. I am guided in wisdom
will not have its way in my body.  to walk in God’s perfect will.
