Reflections on Listening to Prabhupada Chant Japa

(From Online Japa Retreat Level 1 October 9 and 10, 2021)

Intense.

So effortless.

I just cry.

Longing in his voice.

Very deep.

Feeling the mood.

Very steady, clear and peaceful.

Ocean of devotion.

He's really praying.

Humility at best.

Totally absorbed.

Simple.

Mood of separation with a resolution to come back to Krishna.

Crying for getting back to Krsna.

He is really talking to Krishna.

So focused.

It was so powerful and a desperate mood.

Like melancholic calling.

Overwhelming.

Amazing clarity with such deep devotion.

Very consistently.

Experienced the connection.

Deep longing, emergency.

I feel like he's crying for Krishna to open the door.

Prabhupada is calling Krishna with love.

Mahamantra seemed like a song of love.

I am in group with him and going to meet Krishna.

Seeing reciprocation with Lord Krsna.

Deep absorption. It’s only him and Krishna. Nothing in between...

Very close in relationship with Krishna.

He is our grandfather.

Felt very divine and rhythmic.

Love for Krsna.

Peaceful and with feeling.

Urgency.

Beautiful, deep, pure and simple, clear.

I felt he said Hare Krishna really loud to call out god, and he was helping all devotees who were
chanting with him to reach Krishna.

Feeling was Krsna you are everything for me. Use me as you want.

Conversation with Krishna.

Fully present with the holy name.

Intellectually I heard pure names but could not connect or enter. My situation is horrible.

Clear and good vibration.

Definitely very distinct, deep and calling out to embrace him and accept him. Very absorbed.

I was wondering, what would he pray? He is already in service of Krsna, he has already been
accepted by Him, so what would he pray?

Chanting with conviction and faith.

Prabhupada totally with Krishna.

I was thinking how unfortunate I am, I am not able to cry.

Like connecting back to your mother.

Something technical – It sounded like each mantra was slightly different. Not mechanical –
all these ideas make me cry, great association here.

Prabhupada, taking all of us to Vaikuntha.

Adore Krishna.

Such a deep relationship with Krishna.

Absorb in his chanting.

He is at home.

Praying to Krsna for us.

Whenever I hear Prabhupada's audio a different emotion is felt.

Transcendental japa.
