1. Literature is a literary art of one’s feelings, emotions, ideas, and stories through written
words.
2. We need to study literature because:
 helps us understand history more since it is a piece of evidence from the past.
 Literature opens up our minds, and touches our soul it shows us the beauty of literacy.
 it also boosts our imaginations and develops our comprehension skills.

3. We need to introduce literature for the younger kids so that they will learn to appreciate
literature as well as it teaches them good values and moral lessons from stories from fables,
folktales etc.

4. Children’s Literature is different from other literatures because most of the time it uses more
pictures, drawings to attract and gain the child’s interest.

5. Prose uses sentences and paragraphs while poetry uses lines and stanzas. thus, prose uses
sounds that are similar to ordinary speech while poetry on the other hand uses special sounds
or more artistic than normal speech.
