1. Problematic situation:

Human talent management is responsible for organizing and maximizing the

performance of officials within a company or organization, in order to increase their
productivity.

Within the organization we had found that there were difficulties in the performance and
results of the positions, specifically in the management of human talent.
Therefore we are directed to achieve the following objectives and identify what would
have happened if we had applied the improvements on time.

 Improve and take advantage of the skills of workers.

 Increase performance, quality and production of both the employee and the
company.
 Manage the monitoring and ongoing training of staff.

2. What you had done to solve the situation:

 If we had worked more as a team, we would have obtained better results.

 If we had chosen the right staff for each position, we would have achieved our
goals.
 If we had carried out the improvement processes, we would have better
organizational conditions.
3. Recommendations:

With the identification that we carry out of our strengths and weaknesses, we recommend
improving the recruitment and personnel selection process, empowering it, with our
management we were able to verify that the improvement processes were not being
carried out on time and in the correct way.

Activity 2
1. As we could identify earlier in the problem situation, the organization had a deficit in
performance and results in the area of human talent management, this led to low
efficiency and low productivity.

Any initiative for change must be developed with the essential leadership of the
Management and with a commitment to continuity. Initiating a change and creating
expectations that are not met later can cause frustration and worsen the starting
situation. The implementation must be done with professionalism and after a proper
diagnosis that allows selecting the appropriate tools for each circumstance (one or a
combination of several of them).

As a human talent manager we decided to apply some improvement strategies, which

are the following:
 Leadership
 Mentoring
 Work Climate Assessment
 Competency Management / Knowledge Management and Performance Evaluation
 Incentive Systems
 Problem Analysis and Resolution Techniques
 Improving teamwork

With these strategies we have achieved a better performance in our collaborators, we

have reached our short term objectives, obtaining also a better work environment to be
able to reach our medium and long term objectives.

Strategies applied and Achievements reached:

 The collaborators have worked as a team
 Our organizational performance has been improving
 We have taken advantage of the qualities of our collaborators
 During the first months it was difficult to accept the changes
 Our productivity is better than that of our competition
 We have worked more as a team and obtained better results
 We have chosen the right staff for each position.
 We have applied the processes of continuous improvement and we have better
organizational conditions
