Supervisors’ responsibilities include to manage the system ,self , work and others.

What are the responsibilities and duties of a supervisor to employees and

A good supervisor should display leadership qualities and provide employees with
professional direction.

An employee’s responsibility included

Objective To provide you with an opportunity to take time and resource constraints into
account in fulfilling work requirements of self and others.
What is a project?
A project is a network of tasks for the creation or modification of a product or
service within a limited duration. Resources need to be allocated for suitable
project time and budgeting, accounting for any constraints. It is likely that the
organisation’s options will be limited by such constraints.

Explain project management.


Project management included the planning, organisation, control of resources,
procedures and protocols. This will increase the chance of realising organisational
goals. The greatest challenge of project management is honouring the constraints
and achieving project goals and objectives.

What are time constraints?

Time constraints included the timeframes and deadlines set for the completion of
organisational tasks. Sequences of tasks often have to be completed on schedule
in order to avoid delaying the entire
project.
What are resource constraints?
Resource constraints are the physical limits in organisations. They include
elements such as human resources, raw materials, equipment and software.

Detail the ways of accounting for these constraints when attempting to fulfil
work requirements.

What is constructive feedback?

Constructive feedback should be based on observations and be specific to the


issues that you have to deal with in the workplace. It should be constructive and
information-specific. You will be expected to show appreciation when positive
feedback is given.

Identify three types of feedback.


1.Coaching feedback
2.Evaluation feedback
3.Appreciation feedback

What should an employee do when receiving feedback?


They need to listen carefully , reflect on what is said, and ask for clarification.

Describe a time you received feedback. Who gave you it? What did they say?
How did you use it?
This month I received the constructive and information-specific feedback from
my colleagues. I thanked them and changed my attitude of working.

Why is effective teamwork beneficial?

Beacuse the effective teamwork should result in the improved use of resources
and generation of ideas. The outcomes should be of higher quality, more efficient
and, increasingly effective. Each individual can enjoy the benefit of working with
others. There should be a mutual sense of accomplishment.They are able to
achieve more than the individual members can by themselves.

What can the consequences of poor teamwork be?


The consequences included costly for the organisation. It might prove more
difficult to achieve the goals set by the organisation. There may also be a negative
impact on the workplace environment. A sense of negativity and disruption may
build.

Because sharing information could help my workgroup to successful decision-
making , utilisation of combined strengths and development of employees’ skills

Define collaboration in the workplace.


Collaboration in the workplace means to incorporates teamwork and equal
participation and use of group perspectives to solve problems. There should be a
meaningful reason for people working together.
Workplace collaboration included sharing of ideas and thoughts by two or more
people in order to accomplish mutually agreed goals. It is considered a higher
level of teamwork and has become a more productive way of doing things.
They are used to encourage efficient teamwork.

What are personal values and beliefs?

Values and beliefs help to guide the way an individual lives their life and makes
their decisions. They have a significant impact on how an individual works within
an organisation. An individual’s personal values and beliefs are developed
throughout their lifetime and they are affected by many things.
What can influence personal values and beliefs?

Why is it important to respect other peoples’ personal values and beliefs?

Because an awareness of values and beliefs is important for the development of


partnerships and resolution of workplace conflicts. Employees should work
according to a set of professional values and beliefs. An individual’s personal
values and beliefs should not affect their work, workgroup or workplace.
Individuals should not allow their own personal values and beliefs to affect the
quality of their work or their relationships with other employees.

What actions can demonstrate respect for others?

How may communication differ between cultures?
People from some cultures talk loudly and aggressively. Others are passive and
softly.There is some differences in the meaning of words and speech patterns in
different languages. Differences in language may cause misunderstandings in the
workplace.
Which aspects of non-verbal communication may vary between cultures?

What can poor communication lead to?

Differences in gesture may cause misunderstandings in the workplace. India


colleagues shake their heads for me to show their agreement. But I did not
understand it so I use pictures to communicate with them.

The effect of bad stress included decreased motivation, bad result of working and
no challenging and interesting on job and to becoming depressed and headache.

Why may conflict occur in the workplace?


Because the employees do not have a clear understanding of their workplace
responsibilities. A conflict might happen when a new owner, manager, or
supervisor starts within the organisation. Or because of background , personality
or style differences , they may have different leadership styles and employees
may be expected to adjust.
What might be the effects of conflict in the workplace?
The negative effects may include:

* Withdrawal

They have to get feedbacks from a trusted and respected colleague or supervisor. They should also

standards for all Australian workers, as well as its coverage of important issues such as termination
of employment and industrial relations.
