1.0 Purpose
The main objective of this procedure is to provide a safe and efficient system in de watering
works.
2.0 Scope
It cover all layout ,marking, levelling for the Masinloc Power Plant Expansion Project.
VPCI Project Manager shall be the overall responsible for the implementation of this
procedure ensuring that works are completed on schedule and in conformity with
drawings and specifications.
3.2 VPCI
VPCI Project EHS Manager shall ensure safe implementation of this procedure promoting an
Incident and Injury Free environment.
3.3 VPCI
VPCI & GTC Global Inc. QA/QC Engineer shall be responsible for the
implementation of construction specification and standards and see to it that this
written method statement of the work shall be carried out.
3.4 GTC
GTC Global Inc. Construction Manager – shall have the overall responsibility for the
works.
3.5 GTC
GTC Global Inc. HSE Engineer along with the Safety Officer shall ensure
implementation of all safety procedures, safety measures related to the nature of works
being carried out and in accordance with the HSE Plan..
3.6 GTC
GTC Global Site Supervisor shall be directly involved in the planning and execution
of the activities. He shall be responsible for the preparation of work plan, safety action
plan and safety.

5.0 Procedure
5.1 Secure all necessary permit for the work to be done in coordination with AES and VPCI.
5.2 Site must be assessed and potential hazard must be determined.
5.3 Conduct a pre job briefing.
5.4 Set boundaries of works, installed hard barricade. Warning signage’s must in place.
5.5 Mechanic should check the unit prior to start the work ( oil, gas, engine).
5.6 Drip tray must be used for spillage.
5.7 Prepare the hose for discharge and intake for the pump.
5.8 Fire watcher must be present at all time when the unit is operational.
