CIRCULAR

Sub:- APJAKTU - ACADEMIC - levying of fees for unattended period of academic activities
on drop out students are prohibited- Reg.

Ref :- G.O.(Rt)No.3/2022/HEDN Dated 01/01/2022 from the Higher Education (J)

Department.

Vide reference cited above, Government issued orders prohibiting levying fees for
unattended period of academic activities on drop out students by self financing
engineering colleges .
Accordingly it is directed to if a student chooses to discontinue the course in which
he/she is enrolled following drop out of College, no Self Financing Engineering College
concerned shall levy the fees on students for his/her unattended period of academic
activities.
The Principals of all self financing institutions shall ensure strict compliance of the
above directives. Copy of the Government order is also attached herewith.
