Rime’s End (pop ~110) – Despite it’s dramatic name Rime’s End is fairly

quiet and slow little fishing village. It trades not only in fish but a certain type
of pearls that can only be found on this side of Foramere Basin. Has a small
guard station in case of raiders.
Ruunsfield (pop ~300) – One of the largest mainly farming villages this close
to Westruun. Mostly humans populate it. Well known for it’s sheep.
Sandwell Outpost – A ranger station established quite soon after the fall of
the Chroma Conclave. Has slowly evolved as well into a major tradepoint
with the farms as well as hunters, tribes and lumberjacks in the area.
Sanshrub (pop ~135) – A mainly human village focusing mostly on
lumberjacking. Has the first inn worth be calling that south of Westruun, The
Fallen Log Inn.
Silver Creek (pop ~115) – Silvercreek isn’t the most important village in The
Dividing Planes, but is well known because most fish trade from the Foramere
Basin and to Kraghammer, Kymal and Westruun goes through it.
Stormcross (pop ~730) – Being the port town it is, the less than 150 year old
town of Stormcross has become an important little trade community along the
northern coastline, as it lies quite protected in the Seashale Bay. As such it
has started to attract a lot of attention from people seeking opportunities to
make a living and is rapidly growing in size these days. Hosts a lot of humans,
half-orcs, tieflings, gnomes and a few hill dwarves. Well known for it’s
fisheries, it’s glassworks and pies.
The Scarwatch – Although the activity surrounding the Scar of the Cinder
King has somewhat slowed down in activity it’s never been truly stopped or
tamed. The Scarwatch is a minor fort and garrison put here to make sure that
the roads are safe from any incursions or activity around the scar.
Tindra (pop ~60) – Tindra is a cute small village that host the well known
Halfway Inn, that’s been around for at least the last 150 years. Populated by
halflings, half-elves and humans.
The Cut – Named after the road itself and placed where it crosses the Byhills
river The Cut has always been a place where people come together naturally.
It hosts one of Tal’Doreis oldest and largest road inns, but today The Cut is so
much more than that. After the Chroma Conclave this trading post has seen a
wooden stockade been risen around it, and now hosts some fortified barracks,
from where republic soldiers and hired mercenaries proceed when guarding
the road.
Tiddlefen (pop ~380) – Probably the one major halfling village in this part of
the realm. It’s rumored to be one of the most idyllic locations in the whole
republic.
Torthil’s Rest – A quite popular inn alongside the Wildwood byway. Sees a
fair share of visits from adventurers and other opportunists in the area.
Travord Village (pop ~80) – A fairly typical village in the area. It had it’s
glory days about 15 to 20 years ago when Kymal was trying to focus more on
trading with farm goods. Today it does decent enough to not have been as
depopulated as some other villages in the area. In my campaign it was the
unfortunate victim of a quite unexpected Ravager raid. It’s also been used by
the Myriad network as a Nexus for smuggling in the area.
Windshill (pop ~285) – The rural village of Windshill is the closest
settlement to Zephrah, and the people living here tend to have a lot of the
cultural imprint of the Ashari living up in the mountains. One of the main
paths to Zephrah leads from here. Here lives both wood elves, humans and hill
dwarves among the occasional half-orc, half-elf and tiefling. Trade mostly in
sheep, goats and rare stones.
Yndor’s Tarry (pop ~40) – This small fishing village with a trade focus lies
alongside the Silvercut Road. It hosts one inn of questionable quality, The
Fishermans Repose, and a quite popular tavern called Yndar’s Hut.
