1.Observe your own culture. What is the beauty of your culture? Compare your culture with
another culture. Does your family religiously practice your cultural customs and traditions, like
celebrating fiestas, Christmas, and so on, or everything has changed because of consumerism
(the actions of people who spend a lot of money on goods and services)

- For me the beauty of our culture is, that our family still do what we Filipinos do back in
the days. Planting vegetable in our province, fruits, and root crops. If there is a lot, we
sell it to our neighbors. If I was to compare our culture to others, ours was like we live
in the middle of modern and traditional because that is the way our family likes but we
do get involve in modern stuff in these days because the world is now very “techy” and
you need to adapt in these kinds of things. And yes, our family never misses any
traditional practices like Christmas and fiestas. In our province, if there is going to be
a fiesta, we pack our bags and go to our province to celebrate but that only depends if
we have enough money for all of us to go back.
