Interpretation:

- Based on the data above I think I am a collectivist person which is true because I often rely on
others and I am a humorous person, If possible, I want to be with people on the good side. But there
 is one thing that I don’t do especially above the table, that says, “I like sharing little things with my
neighbors” because there are a lot of problems here in our neighborhood, they like gossiping each
other and making stories that are not true. So, my family decided not to talk to them.

Let’s Reflect

Why are Filipinos known for being a collectivistic culture? Do you personally agree that you are a
collectivist? If not, share a concrete personal experience why do you think that your orientation is on
individualism not on collectivism.

-Because we Filipinos are not selfish at such things, we often lend a hand to other people when they are in
need. We are known to our Bayanihan and hospitality, we Filipinos are friendly to other people and we
always pay our respect even we don’t know the person
