A. Answer the questions below:

1. Enumerate an adapted literary text from books, films, drama, short stories and poems from local
and international.

LOCAL INTERNATIONAL

-Tatarin -Twilight Series
-She’s dating the gangster -Harry Potter Series
-Tatarin

-ABNKKBSNPLAko!
Thief
-Hello, Love, Goodbye
-To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before
-Alone/Together
-The Princess Diaries
-100 Tula Para Kay Stella
-Jurassic Park

2. Based from your answer in question number 1, choose at least 2 adaptations (1 local, 1
international) and share the storyline.
LOCAL: Alone/Together

College sweethearts Christine and Raf meet again for the first time eight years
after their breakup. Once an overachieving art student, Christine has become a
failure, whereas Raf, a guy nobody thought, would be a great.

INTERNATIONAL: Twilight

Bella awakes -- as a vampire -- from her life-threatening labor, and her newborn
daughter, Renesmee, proves to be very special indeed. While Bella adjusts to
her new state of being, Renesmee experiences accelerated growth. When the
Volturi learn of the baby's existence, they declare her to be an abomination and
sentence the Cullens to death. Bella, Edward (Robert Pattinson) and the rest of
the clan seek help from allies around the world to protect their family.

3. In your own point of view, is the adaptation effective? Why? Explain.

It is effective since both films were successful and many people have watched it. I can't say if it was
that effective because I haven't read their books, but I am content with the movies, which are fantastic
because I watched Twilight at least three times, and Alone Together is also a great movie because the
feelings are true to me and it makes me sad. The Artists also did a wonderful job of evoking viewers'
emotions, as I discovered from my research that many people are enthused about these films.

B. Based from the movie “Diary ng Panget” share the storyline and create your slide show
presentation in Microsoft power point and put related images and animations. *Note: Send your
output to your subject teacher thru messenger or google drive.
