I. Introduction
The Online Entry Camps are the entry point of children ages 4 to 12 years old to become
members of Kids for Christ. It is open to all children of Couples for Christ community
members, on – going Christian Life Program (CLP) participants and non- CFC members. It
is usually conducted during summer or school breaks through a virtual platform.
Children, whose parents are CFC members, are automatically KFC members. However, they
still need to undergo the entry camp to become a full-fledged KFC Member.
There are two types of KFC Entry Camps, depending on the age range of a child. Below are
brief descriptions of the two types of entry camps:
Online Junior Kids Day – This is a four-hour activity usually conducted during summer or
school break. Ideally, the maximum number of participants is fifteen (15 kids)
Goals:
a. To know that God loves them
b. To develop friendship with Jesus
c. To respond to Jesus’ love in our words and actions
Online Senior Kids Camp - This is a two-weekend activity (ideally two (2) succeeding
Saturday mornings) usually conducted during summer or school break. Ideally, the
maximum number of participants is fifteen (15 kids)
Goals:
a. To know God’s love through their families and His Creation
b. To explain Jesus’ example of goodness by developing a friendship with Him
c. To respond to Jesus’ goodness in thoughts, words, and actions with the help
of the Holy Spirit
d. To explain to parents their role as pastoral heads of the kids
III. Manpower
The success of every Online Entry Camp lies within the people involved in its planning and
implementation. Proper delegation of task, right number of service team members,
preparation time and logistical requirements should be well considered at all times.
The service team for the entry camp should be composed of the KFC Couple Coordinator,
Rock Facilitators and CFC parents who are willing to serve in the activity. It is important that
good role models be tapped to serve in the camp.
All final decisions for the activity are made by the KFC Chapter Couple Coordinator.
The Team Leaders (Rock) and CFC Parents may propose ideas, but the KFC Chapter
Couple Coordinator makes the final decision.
The KFC Chapter Couple Coordinator courses their correction of the Service Team
through the Team Leaders.
Below are some of the basic tasks of the KFC Chapter Couple Coordinator in
preparation for the Online Senior Kids Camp.
(Note: More details are found in the Couple Coordinator’s Weekend Training
Manual)

Expanded Outline
I. Introduction:
We learned from our Rock Facilitators Weekend Training the importance of storytelling
and speaking to kids as a tool in sharing the message of the Gospel. Given the changes in
this time of pandemic, we are called to explore different ways to deliver the same
message, from our usual physical gatherings into virtual teachings. We have to equip
ourselves with the use of what we have learned from our trainings and convert it to a
more efficient material that is applicable to kids and their families.
II. Here are some tips to make the Virtual sessions fun and effective:
1. Be interactive - You have to build connection with the kids and don’t let attention
decrease.
a. Do not forget to introduce yourself. (Example: Hello! I’m Ate Marian.) Look at the
camera lens so that the kids will feel that you are talking to them directly.
b. Create action connections such as thumbs up, fist bump, etc. to make sure that kids
are participating and that they understand what you are saying.
c. Acknowledge the kids’ actions and be aware of what they are doing. Encourage the
participants to keep their cameras on if possible.
d. If you are recording a video, make sure that you will be interactive. You can insert
yes or no questions (wherein you pause as if waiting for their imaginary answer)
or encourage the viewers to do certain actions. (Such as thumbs up sign, etc.)
2. Be animated - Being animated and lively becomes extremely important when the
audience are kids.
a. Internalize and be familiar with your script specially when storytelling. When
reading the gospel, giving the activity pep talk, make sure you read and speak
clearly.
b. Use facial expressions and big body movements that would enhance your story or
emphasize your point.
c. When you are reading the gospel or storytelling, use the right timing. Know when
to pause, speed up, or slow down. Be reminded of the use of dramatic pause. Voice
is also important. Use a variety of voices to identify the characters of the story.
3. Be creative - When giving the activity virtually, make sure you know which material
to use to add impact (PowerPoint presentation, videos, audio
background, etc.).
a. Research which presentation material would be best to use according to your talk
outline/story. In the case of the Online Entry camp, a session presentation is
already provided. The speaker may add materials and resources they deem helpful
in delivering a certain point of the session provided that the message of the talk is
preserved, and the session does not exceed the allotted time
b. Use details like props & costume, sound effects and background music. Make sure
to wear proper attire. Use pastel or bright colors for your clothes if possible as it
is pleasing to the kid's eyes.
III. Conclusion
The things we learned today are helpful and will surely equip us in continuing our mission
of evangelizing kids and sharing the joy of Christ to every home. As missionaries, we
should think outside the box most especially in times like this when we cannot do our
usual activities. Let us remember that the Online Entry Camp is where we evangelize the
kids. Therefore, as Rock Facilitators, let us give our best in the Online Entry Camp and
ensure that even if we cannot be physically together, they will be able to grow spiritually
For Rock Facilitators:
Worship 3: KFC LOVING RESPONSES
Online Entry Camp Training
Objective:
• Aims to give the participants a preview of the possible situations that they might
encounter in handling kids and parents in the Online Entry Camp
• Provide an opportunity for them to give solutions on the situations presented to them.
Speakers Profile:
Expanded Outline
I. Introduction
“He said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your
soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second
is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39 NABRE
Jesus strongly calls us to LOVE. As Rock Facilitators in Kids for Christ, we may be in
situations that can test our capacity to love. This workshop will allow us to be ready and
be aware with some situations in KFC that will call us to respond lovingly. Our
reactions must be full of love, reminding ourselves to love like Jesus.
Guidelines:
1. Participants will be grouped (3 – 5 Members) and assigned in a breakout room
with a Facilitator.
2. Within the time provided, the group must discuss and come up with possible
solutions to the different cases presented and assigned to them.
3. Each group member must participate in the discussion.
4. After the discussion, the Facilitator will summarize their discussion, provide
inputs, and present the suggested solution by the outline.
5. Participants must then return to the main room for the conclusion of the
workshop.
II. Case Studies with possible solutions:
Case # 1
During an online activity, one kid keeps on unmuting his microphone and interrupting the
speaker. As a Rock facilitator how will you encourage the kid to listen and participate?
Case # 2
In the middle of the preparation of the online entry camp you noticed that your
couple coordinator stopped responding and is not attending the service meetings. What
will you do?
Case # 3
• During an Online Senior Kids Camp, you noticed that there are kids who are not
paying attention and are just playing with their gadgets. As a Rock Facilitator, how
can you encourage the kids to listen and participate in the activity.
Case # 5
You want to invite your neighbors’ kid to join the KFC Senior Kids Camp in your chapter.
The parents are non-CFC and have no idea about CFC or KFC. How will you invite the kid
to join? And how will you ask the parents to allow their kid to join?
III. Conclusion:
Our Calling as a KFC Rock Facilitator is to love. Our response to difficult situations
whether in our service, at home or in school should always be rooted in love. Let us
always remind ourselves to love like Jesus.

Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool with a local, desktop client and a mobile
app that allows users to meet online, with or without video. Users can choose to record
sessions, collaborate on projects, and share or annotate on one another's screens, all with
one easy-to-use platform.
In this workshop we will know the different functions of the Zoom application such as:
