FDA approves Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine for Children 5-11 years old

Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has now granted Emergency Use
Authorization (EUA) To Pfizer BioNTech Vaccine for vaccination of children at age
5-11 years old for additional protection against Covid-19 virus.
In an interview of USEC. Eric Domingo (Director General, FDA), lower
doses and concentration of the Pfizer vaccine will be given to children aged 5-11
years old. IATF and DOH also plan to vaccinate these age group this January 2022.
“Upon the review of the technical documents and the evaluation of
US FDA recommendation. Our experts had founded that the data they submitted
is sufficient for EUA approval” Usec. Eric Domingo said.
