LESSON VIII: ACTIVITY (EARLY ADULTHOOD)

1. How old do you think this group of young adults are?


- I think this group of young adults ages an approximately 22 to 25 years
old.
2. What clues can you use to help you to estimate their changes?
- As what I can observed in the picture, the clues for estimating their
changes are: physical appearance, social interaction and intimacy
towards the peer.

LESSON IX: MIDDLE AGE


EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING:
1. MIDDLE AGE – Middle age is the period in human life when you are no
longer young but have not yet become old. It usually considered to be from
about 45 to 60 years old.
2. DANGEROUS AGE – Middle age is considered as “dangerous age”, it is
because as people age, they become susceptible to disease like diabetes,
coronary heart disease and etc. If a human reach middle age, he or she
must have to be sensible about their health.
3. TIME OF BOREDOM – One of the signs when you reach the middle age is
when you feel boredom and emptiness. In some instances, the physical and
mental aspects limits do not allow the full utilization of their abilities, that’s
why the risk of becoming disengaged and isolated boredom may rise.
4. AWKWARD AGE – Awkward age is commonly associated with awkwardness
and shyness towards other people.
5. DREADED PERIOD – Middle age is the most dreaded point in the total life
span of every individual. Based on the dictionary, dreaded means upsetting,
feeling of anxiousness and unhappy. So, I can say that people on the middle
age can feel unhappy when they realized their next chapter is to be as “old
age”.

2. What clues can you use to estimate their age?
- Physical features (white hair, wrinkled skin and blurry sight)
