Project Proposal
I. Title of the Project: Out-of-School Youth Week: “No One Left Behind
Program”
II. Location: Barangay Nuling, Lebak, Sultan Kudarat
III. Duration/Time of Implementation: 3rd Week of July, 2022
IV. Type of Community Extension Services: Educational / CARE
V. Department Involved / College Involved:
₱ 5,000 – 9,000.00
Rationale of the Project
The project is very important as it will help out-of-school youths to gain and enhance
their knowledge even in the absence of formal education. It is unfortunate that some
youths do not get the chance to complete schooling. This happens due to many
different reasons including poverty, illness, unsupportable parents, and lacking
support of government.
This project will be a great opportunity to change their outlooks in life. In our
Barangay, I’ve observed numbers of youths especially indigenous people that have
an eagerness to learn. Unfortunately, there are some factors that affects their
dreams in life. Thus, this project will ensure that they can get supplemental
education services. The project will further improve issues about education. The “No
One Left Behind Program” is intended to help OSY’s, and this project will be
implemented within one week, through providing learning materials, reading and
lecturing, and giving motivational advices, and etc. The No One Left Behind Program
aimed to give encouragement to OSY’s to finish studies and reach for their dreams
in life. All youths deserve to get a formal education to become a tool in changing our
country, and with this No One Will Left Behind.
With the implementation of the project, the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lebak,
Barangay Nuling and the donor community will serve as the fund or budget in
developing and conducting my/our project. Donors and the government should offer
enough money to enable the young individuals to go through school and various
occupational program.
Objectives
Methodology
Aside from Alternative Learning System (ALS), the project will also provide a
practical option to the existing formal instruction. When one does not have or cannot
access formal education in schools. This project is intended to help the selected out-
of-school youths in barangay Nuling.
The project “No One Left Behind Program” will start by involving the target
participants and consulting the Barangay Nuling officials about the goals of the
project. Participation will be the key. On the first day of the week, we will conduct an
educational symposium and give flyers to the selected youths in every purok of the
Barangay. On the Second day, we will have reading activities and lecturing. The
other activities will be held on the remaining days of the week. Including, giving of
reading materials, arts & crafts workshop, and giving of certificates and assistance.
The activities that were needed to accomplish will be executed for 5 consecutive
days, start from 8am 2pm in a day in order to achieve the goals of the project.
