1. What is puberty?
 Based on my research, Puberty is the time in life when a boy or girl
becomes sexually mature. It is a process that usually happens between ages
10 and 14 for girls and ages 12 and 16 for boys. It causes physical changes,
and affects boys and girls differently.

2. How would you describe puberty?


 In my own point of view, puberty is one of the periods of human
development wherein the body started to develop and have some changes
occur. When it comes to girls, they experienced menstruation and pimples
will begin to appear. As what I have learned, girls’ breasts during puberty
stage will also continue to grow and become fuller.

3. Describe the characteristics of your puberty stage.


 At the age of 12, I already have my first menstruation and at the same time
a lot of changes I’ve experienced. First, acnes in some area of my face had
started to occur. Second, I also noticed that my breast got a little bit bigger.
Third, the thin hair under the arms and even in my public hair appears.
Fourth, my appetite in foods increased. And Fifth, the way I socialize change
and begin to have enthusiasm toward the partner.

APPLICATION

1. What is adolescence?
 Based on my research, Adolescence is a phase of maturation. It is a
transitional period of physical and psychological human development
between childhood and adulthood. Adolescence occurs from 12 to 22-25
years old.

2. How would you describe adolescence stage base on the reading


materials?
 Adolescence stage is the time of changes. Changes in physical,
psychological, personality and social development. Like in psychological
aspect mostly there is emergence of abstract thinking and the growing
ability. Based on what I have learned, when a human reached in
adolescence stage, he or she encounters a lot of problems and because of
that he or she can use his abstract or critical thinking to solve those
dilemmas.

3. Describe your adolescence stage.


 While I’m still at this phase of life (late adolescence), I can say that life is full
of challenges. In this kind of age, I am pressured about doing serious
decisions. Also, when it comes to socializing, I have doubt that might
someone judge me. But I need to surpass those negative thoughts of mine.
Moreover, my adolescence stage is not just about challenges but there’s
also enjoyment. Such as having peer relationship, self-reliance and thinking
ability improvement.
