    Q1. Comment on the centrality of imageries of ‘water’ and ‘soil’ in Dhasal’s poems.

    Q2. Namdeo Dhasal’s expanded connotations of the terms ‘dalit’ and ‘lumpen proletariats’ that
    enabled him to focus on the cause of “residues of a layered and hierarchic society”. Elucidate.

    Q3. How the laconic poetry by Jayant Parmar articulates the voice of dalits? Explain with reference
    to ‘Last Will of a Dalit Poet”.

    Q4. ND Rajkumar’s poems attempt to articulate alternate ‘dalit aesthetics’. Elucidate with reference
    to poems by Rajkumar in your syllabus.

    Q5. Biswas resorts to re-ordering of Indian myths to highlight the caste equations and hierarchies.
