PERFECT MATCH

PROLOGUE

It’s summer now. The other kids are playing outside right now. And here I am, sitting on my favorite
coach in my favorite spot while reading my favorite books. I kinda hate it when I got dragged by
annoying Anna and two others. Well, even so they’re my best friends. The names are…
- 24th of July 2010, Aden

“Aden come play with us!” someone called me outside the library. I look to the window, and I see a
short brown haired girl with eyes of blue. It’s Anna, she’s one of my close friend. Not just close but s
o-close friend, we were a friend when i was a baby she said. She’s 3 years older than me. But I think sh
e act so childish and I was more matured than her age.

I opened the window so I could talk to her. “I don’t want to” I answered. She looks disagree after I s
aid that. I think she’s gonna come to me and drag me out after that. And yes, she’s coming this way.

“HEY! What are you doing here!, come play with us!” she yelled at me. Now my quality time has
been interrupted. I don’t hate it when playing with them..it just that I hate it being outside. I don’t have
a problem if they’re playing inside the house.

She’s been forcing me and pull my arm till I feel like I’m gonna lost it. So I got forced to come
with her, playing with the other kids and of course being outside..

I joined the crowd of kids playing jump rope. It’s a boring game in my opinion and it wasted your
energy. I just joined them because Anna forced me to, but it’s better to play with younger kids than
kids on my age. Anna is doing her duty right now which is serving lunch with sister Aria “Aden! Hi!”,
I turned my head. I saw my other best friend there. It’s Ethan and Gracie, the blonde haired boy with
eyes of blue same as Anna and long black haired girl with brown eyes.

Ethan is 3 years older than me, he is the only boy who’s being my friend. The others male kids are
avoiding me because they think I’m boring. I don’t understand why does Ethan wanted to be my friend.
Okay, back to Ethan. He is a famous kids among the boys and the girls. He’s a fun, friendly and smart
guy. I think the reason I want him to be my friend is cause he’s smart not like the other male kids I
know and he’s act more matured than the other kids.We’re a friend since a baby Anna said (again). He
is the same age as Anna. He’s like a big brother for me.

Next is Gracie. She’s one year older than me. She act more like a big sister for me. Rather than Anna
who’s act like like a 8 year old kid which is more called a friend for me. I think Gracie has a crush on
Ethan, and if they’re going to married in future I would one hundreds percent agree. Well, Ethan
doesn’t realize if Gracie has a feeling for him.

“hey guys” I greet them with friendly tone. “guess what today is!” Ethan said, I guess he’s gonna say
it was his birthday today. Well, I remembered what today is, but I think I’m gonna act like I didn’t
know anything.

“no” I answered. He looks gloomy after I said that, it’s kinda fun to tease him. “it’s his birthday
today!” Gracie seems like hold her laugh after seeing me teasing Ethan. “well, its okay if you don’t
remember what today is! Sister Erie has been bake my favorite dessert for today. We’re going to have
some apple pies for lunch!” he’s excitedly said.

Haven’t I told you that I was an orphan?. well, let me tell you my background stories. Firstly, I’m a
boy. And people always call me Aden. I was raised in orphan house. There’s 13 kids in the house
which is aged 2 - 16. and it have 3 nanny in it. I’m 9 years old this year. My birthday is 24th December
after Gracie. I was the smartest kid among the others, sister Brianna said. In the house, we’re always
served food everyday. We’re never lack of supplies even in the winter. Thanks to uncle Josh who’s
always take efforts on searching sponsors for our orphan house. We lived in a countryside forest.
There’s no one here other than us.
 “happy birthday Ethan! We wish you all the best!”, Ethan is crowded by the other kids now. He
received so many birthday greetings and gift. As for me, I prepare his favorite genre novel for gift. It’s
a sci-fi novel titled ‘the future’ by my favorite author. I got it from the market city when I was
shopping with uncle Josh. I give the gift to him, he says thank you after that.

“we got apple pies for Ethan’s birthday!”, I saw sister Erie and Anna coming with bringing a large-
sized apple pie and it smells so good. The kids are excited to eat it. I sit on my chair and stares at the
piece of apple pie sister Erie gave me. It looks nothing wrong in it. So I just ate it. I bite the apple pie’s
crumb and it taste…so Delicious!. as expected sister Erie is the best when it comes to cooking. There’s
nothing wrong until..

CHAPTER 0

“Gracie! What’s wrong!” I heard Anna shouting in her seats. I saw Gracie coughs hardly, it seems
that she’s choked on her apple pie. “get her some water!” sister Erie panicky shouts. Anna quickly give
her water and Gracie drink it. But..after she’s drink it..its only getting worse. She’s doesn’t stop
coughing and her coughs getting hardly worse. So I
