- Previous senators have gone to the ASGA conferences. Afe valuable for
leadership for students and advisors. Helped with recruiting students. Tap
into this resource and take advantage instead of recreating this will.

October 8-9 is a virtual conference with workshops, speakers and summits;

we can collaborate with other student groups and senates ( join FB page).
Memberships run up to $400 per year for the entire Senate. Attending the
Summit $1,450 (after Sunday Sep 6).

Motion: ASUHWO will allocate $5,000 out of the Professional Development

Budget for a 3 year American Student Government Association membership as well as
the Fall 2021 Summit Conference.
