Answer- No I believe that there are more pros to Emotional intelligence than cons because
Emotional intelligence is an ability that helps to identify and regulate one’s emotions and understand
the emotions of others to work in an effective way in order to achieve the goal. In mastering each of
the four components of emotional intelligence will enable you to have confrontations when they are
necessary, and to do so in a more strategic and productive manner. Self-awareness, self-
management, social awareness, and relationship management are the components, as mentioned
elsewhere. Strong self-awareness and self-management will allow you to regulate your first impulses
as well as any anxiety you may be experiencing have a conversation about it part of it is a highly
developed sense of empathy. Social awareness – would enable you to see the issue from the
perspective of the other person. You'll be able to deliver your case to them in a way that appeals to
their point of view that makes them feel heard, or that relates to their own personal interests and
dealing with disagreement is crucial. Relationship management is a part of it. You'd say exactly what
you needed to say, in a clear and concise manner firmly, and in a way that the other person can hear
you. Apart from this on the basis of further examples which are discussed in the abstract we have
observed that leaders who consciously work on their emotional intelligence will be more sensitive to
all facets of empathy, as well as all four components of emotional intelligence, in every connection
they meet. Believing that emotional intelligence is merely being "nice" obscures what makes this
approach so valuable — and stops leaders from having powerful, constructive dialogues that
strengthen their ability to influence and lead in all of their interactions.
