Our family theme is “Turn your house into a home”

My name is Carly Taylor. There are five people in our house: my older
brother Jason, my parents, my grandmother and me, of course.
My grandmother doesn’t work anymore, so she is always busy gardening.
She is also the family chef. She cooks very well! Last weekend she cooked
a delicious roast.
Last week we all helped out with the house chores. Jason and I cleaned our rooms and
Jason helped mum set the table for dinner. I washed the dirty dishes and put them away in the
cupboard. We also vacuumed the house and dusted the furniture. My mother did the laundry
and ironed all our clothes. She also cleaned the bathrooms. So, our house was really clean. It
wasn’t messy!
Why did we all work so hard? Well, we wanted to be together, of course! We watched TV
series in the living room and played a few PlayStation games. And what did our father do? He
was sick, so he stayed in bed all week.
