A news program in GMA “24 oras” always broadcast live at 6:30pm to.
8:30pm during weekdays and 5:00pm to 7:00 pm during weekends, while TV patrol
broadcast live in their youtube channel.
A. Content
GMA and ABS-CBN are both TV stations here in the Philippines. TV Patrol
broadcast live on their online through the ABS-CBN news youtube channel. This
program normally air on their youtube channel in the evening, while GMA “24 oras”
broadcast live and convey information of the news by their channel on the TV.
B. Audience reach
Both of them provide us with the news and information around the world. But
in digital media like television has a greater audience because everyone of us has a
own television, while in the social media like youtube it will consume data or mbps.
C. Technology utilized
It uses TV camera that turns a picture and sound into a signal, TV
transmitter that’s sends the signal through the air and the TV set to our home that
captures the signal and turns it back into images and sounds, others smartphones
computer and laptop.
D. Your personal preference
This two mode of communication are important in a different ways. But for
me I prefered using television because you can watched anything you want.
