The result rules out the SARS CoV-2 viral infection.
If the high suspicion of coronavirus infection continues, persistence of symptoms or non-concordance with the symptoms,

The result of the test must be evaluated by a health professional to define the type of case, as established by the Ministry of
Health, in the epidemiological context, evolution and clinical symptoms.
METHODOLOGY AND ANALYSIS .
Qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA by automated RNA extraction with magnetic beads or by extraction columns.
Performance of cDNA with reverse transcriptase and application of real-time PCR.
The analytical sensitivity of the product was confirmed less than or equal to 10 copies / reaction of SARS-CoV-2, with a
confidence level greater than 95% for the target genes. It has been validated for oropharyngeal, nasopharyngeal, sputum
and saliva swab samples.
The assay includes an internal control to identify possible PCR inhibition, measure extraction purity, and confirm the integrity
of the PCR run. Some substances above a certain concentration can interfere with reverse transcription and PCR reactions.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION .
The documents that support this trial are kept in compliance with the national regulations for the archive of clinical history
and care records.

INDICACION DE LA PRUEBA .

El resultado descarta la infección viral SARS CoV-2.

Si continua la alta sospecha de infección por coronavirus, persistencia de los síntomas o no concordancia con la clínica, se debe repetir la prueba
molecular RTPCR en 48 a 72 horas, si no han trascurrido más de 14 días desde la fecha de inicio de síntomas; realizar aislamiento obligatorio en
casa por 14 días mientras se obtiene el resultado de la segunda prueba, a su vez continuar con las demás pautas no farmacológicas promovidas por
el gobierno nacional, que incluyen el lavado de manos, mantener rutinas de autocuidado, aseo personal, sueño, alimentación y etiqueta respiratoria
además de limpieza y desinfección de superficies de mayor contacto. Posterior a 14 días de evolución se recomienda realizar seguimiento serológico.
El resultado de la prueba debe ser evaluado por un profesional de la salud para la definición del tipo de caso, según lo establece el Ministerio de
Salud, en el contexto epidemiológico, la evolución y síntomas clínicos.
METODOLOGIA Y ANALISIS .

Detección cualitativa de RNA viral de SARS-CoV-2 mediante extracción del RNA automatizado con perlas magnéticas o mediante columnas de
extracción.
Realización de cDNA con transcriptasa reversa y aplicación de PCR en tiempo real.
La sensibilidad analítica del producto se confirmó menor o igual a 10 copias/reacción de SARS-CoV-2 , con un nivel de confianza mayor del 95% para
los genes objetivos. Ha sido validado para muestras de hisopado orofaríngeo, nasofaríngeo, esputo y saliva.
El ensayo incluye un control interno para identificar la posible inhibición de PCR, medir la pureza de extracción y confirmar la integridad de la
ejecución de PCR. Algunas sustancias por encima de cierta concentración pueden actuar como agentes interferentes en la transcripción reversa y en
las reacciones de PCR.
