contents in the first three lessons or not. Therefore, this lesson includes materials and methods that are going to
be useful for assessing and observing the overall situation of the students, such as creating a blog.

Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
Teacher (she) enters to the class and greets all the children.
She opens the smartboard and opens the Prezi presentation.
As appears in the first slide, students watch the YouTube video titled ‘In 1980’s prediction of 2020’ focusing on
the main topic.
After watching without subtitles, teacher turn on the subtitles and wants students to focus on ‘will’ form.
After watching the video twice, once with subtitle and once without, teacher shows where the speakers used
‘will’ in their speaking and shows them in the slides with transcription.
Back up: If there is a problem with technology, teacher will use the transcription of the text she has beforehand,
also she will use blackboard to detect sentences with ‘will’ structures.
At the end of the Prezi presentation, students form pairs and discuss ‘What will happen in 2060?’ discussion
question for 5 minutes.
After the discussion everyone goes back to their seats, and opens Google Forms that the teacher created. They
answer the True/False questions prepared for their listening comprehension testing and then answer short
answer questions prepared for writing skills.
Thanks to the skills they improved throughout this lesson, they are expected to create a blog about their
prediction for 2060 composed of at least 3 paragraphs as their homework.
